Hey, "The Rookie" fans. We're back in action to deliver up another new dish of spoiler scoops. In this session, we've got spoilery details for the next, new episode 7 of The Rookie's current season 6, which is finally due to arrive tonight, April 30, 2024. Yep, after a couple of weeks of delays, ABC will finally serve this one up to you tonight. We were able to track down a couple of new, official teaser descriptions for this new episode 7 via ABC's official episode 7 press release synopsis. So, as usual, we're going to dig into it for this spoiler session. First off, we've got the official title for this new episode 7 of The Rookie season 6. The writers decided to go with the name, "Crushed" for this one. It sounds like episode 7 will feature some very interesting, intense, dramatic, action-filled and suspenseful scenes as an intense search mission takes place and more.

Fans of the hit ABC TV show The Rookie were thrilled to learn it had been renewed for season 7, but, we do have some not great news.

If you’re all caught up on The Rookie season six, you’ll have to wait another full week for a new episode.

Unfortunately, there’s no new episode tonight (April 23) and instead, the next new episode will air a week from today on April 30.

Amazon’s free-of charge, ad-supported streaming platform that is only available in India, miniTV, is expanding its reach within the country. It is adding 200 shows and films for regional audiences and speakers of Tamil and Telugu.

The new line-up of dubbed titles includes marquee and fan-favourite Hindi originals including “Hunter- Tootega Nahi Todega,” “Physics Wallah,” action-packed patriotic series “Rakshak- India’s Braves,” and young romance series “Highway Love.”

Hollywood titles dubbed into Tamil and Telugu will include library titles “Twilight,” “Now You See Me,” the “Hunger Games” series, the “Step Up” franchise films and “Red.”

miniTV will also upload Korean, Turkish and Mandarin shows dubbed in Tamil and Telugu languages. But Amazon did not identify the new imported titles or their source.

Cooper Koch and Nicholas Alexander Chavez have been cast in Season 2 of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s “Monster,” Variety has learned. They will play the Menéndez brothers in the Netflix anthology series, which told the story of Jeffrey Dahmer (Evan Peters) in Season 1.

Netflix confirmed the subject and title of “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story” in May. This will be the first of the two additional “Monster” installments that Netflix ordered after “Dahmer — The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” became the streamer’s No. 2 most popular English-language series of all time.

Erik (played by Koch) and Lyle Menéndez (Chavez) were convicted of the murders of their parents, José and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menéndez, in 1996. The brothers eventually confessed, but maintained that they killed their parents out of fear after being abused. Exclusive: Ryan Murphy’s Monster anthology series has found its Erik and Lyle Menendez.

Deadline understands that the second season of the Netflix anthology series, a follow-up to The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, has cast Cooper Koch and Nicholas Alexander Chavez in the roles.

We hear that Koch will play Erik and Alexander Chavez will play Lyle.

Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story follows a successful Season 1 for the new franchise which focused on serial killer Dahmer, played by Evan Peters.

Season 2 will tell the story of the real-life brothers who were convicted in 1996 for the murders of their parents, José and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menéndez. Although the siblings eventually confessed to parricide, they have long sustained that the reason for their actions was due to physical, emotional and sexual abuse.

Imagine Dragons are prepping a new documentary centered around a special homecoming concert in Las Vegas, Imagine Dragons Live in Vegas.

The film will primarily feature footage from Imagine Dragons’ performance at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas last September. Mixed with archival and contemporary interviews with the band — Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee, and Daniel Platzman — the movie will chronicle how Imagine Dragons went from playing dive bars and casinos around the Vegas Strip to headlining the city’s gigantic football stadium.

Imagine Dragons Live in Vegas will premiere on July 14 on Hulu.

Imagine Dragons have shared a short film for their song “Crushed,” which recounts the story of 14-year-old boy living in the Ukraine. Directed by Ty Arnold, the video follows Sasha as he walks through the wreckage of his village, which was occupied by Russian forces for five months and shelled.

The video has been released in support of the relief efforts led by UNITED24, the organization founded by President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The band is encouraging fans to donate to the cause here.

The Berlin Film Festival has revealed the first tranche of titles for its Panorama and Generation strands.

The Panorama lineup includes films from Ukraine, Yemen and about Iran. Of the 14 films selected, 11 are world premieres. There are new films by Sepideh Farsi, Jennifer Reeder, Tina Satter, Sacha Polak, Malene Choi and Ira Sachs.

The films selected for the Generation Kplus and Generation 14plus competitions include nine shorts and nine features, including 11 world premieres.

Stars featured in titles across the strands include Willem Dafoe, Ben Whishaw, Adèle Exarchopoulous, Leon Dai and Sydney Sweeney.

The festival takes place Feb. 16-26, 2023.

The company, which is behind podcasts such as False Idol, Crushed and Lost in Sports, has hired Kevin Sullivan as Head of Talk.

Sullivan has spent the last seven years as executive producer at The Center for Investigative Reporting, where he launched weekly, national, investigative public radio program Reveal.

The two-time Peabody and Emmy Award-winning producer also spent more than ten years at Wbur Boston, where he helped expand Here & Now into a co-production with NPR.

He also launched the investigative news unit at Wjz-tv CBS Baltimore and was an independent documentary producer and director.

“It’s an exciting time to join Religion of Sports, which is not only expanding into areas beyond sports but is making a dedicated effort to expand on the various ways we tell and consume stories.

Tubi has announced the casting and director for “Crushed,” a coming-of-age comedy set to premiere this April on Fox Entertainment’s ad-supported streaming service.

“Crushed” follows Kate (Bebe Wood), a romantic high schooler who has a huge crush on classmate Jason (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). But, as she unsuccessfully tries to get together with Jason during their senior class trip, things spiral out of control.

In addition to Wood and Chavez, “Crushed” also stars Brenna D’Amico (“Descendants: Wicked World”), Valerie Azlynn (“Sullivan & Son”), Kylee Russell (“Zombies: Addison’s Monster Mystery”), Lisa Yamada (“All of Us Are Dead”), Meg Wright (“Jeepers Creepers III”) and Bailey Stender (“Pop Music High”).

The outfit’s slate coming to the Cannes market for the first time includes A&e Lifetime’s Deadly Infidelity, Tubi’s Romeo & Juliet Killers and Lifetime Movie Network’s Dangerous Snow Day. Others to feature include Crushed, Deadly Girls Night Out and Cheating For Your Life.

The pics are just some of the 18 movies featuring on a slate spanning mystery, drama thriller and romcom.

Next month’s Cannes market is the first time the new distribution arm will be showcasing its slate at an event.
