I watched this program for the first time tonight. Had never even heard of the series before. I enjoyed it and am sorry to learn 2022 is its last season. The show caught my interest although Bull seems totally unrealistic in his easy ability to accomplish things, especially winning at blackjack. To me, the show is a comedy in some ways, but this is the only episode I've ever seen. Am going to try to watch remaining reruns this season.
Over its run, usually Bull has been one of the best series from the USA, with just occasional poor episodes.
Unfortunately, this is one of those poor ones. The main story was not able to be developed at anything like the necessary 41 minute length by the scriptwriters, so they padded it out with a back story about Bull's brother - which was rather silly and very predictable.
I am not a scriptwriter but I can think of several ways that the main story could have developed, to then lead up to an on the edge ending. As it was written there was no tension at all.
I will miss the series when it ends but maybe that's a blessing as these writers are running out of material.
