What a great surprise this was at the Einhovens Film Festival this year: I discovered De Meisjes van Thijs. The first episode seemed a bit goofy to me, the second put a smile on my face, the third made me grin out loud and from the forth on I caught myself thinking: okay, I'll watch one more and than I'll get up. Alright, maybe one more after that. And another, and another. I was hooked.
De Meisjes van Thijs is well made, original, a feast of recognition, the acting is very credible and, the story lines continue to surprise and capture me. De Meisjes van Thijs simply brighten up every day a little. A big fat 9. Calculate that, IMDb ;)
