When Friends took over hearts and TV screens for 10 years of its run (and beyond!), it was just a natural course of time before any of us had a crush on one of the stars of the sitcom. But topping anyone and everyone’s list, Jennifer Aniston still wears the crown. Rachel Green was more than just a character— She was an icon, one who redefined fashion for years to come with her signature “Rachel” cut and immaculate sense of style.

So it comes as no surprise that even her co-stars had a crush on her. And while we’d think it was her 5 main castmates as the top contenders, there was one recurring star who couldn’t keep it together during their scenes. Surely, learning pranks from Rachel and repeating her lines was a tough ask for Ben Geller!

Described as a “genre-defying series,” Apple TV+’s “The Afterparty” features a murderer’s row of comedic talent, all joined together for creator and sole director Chris Miller’s murder mystery. Set on the night of a 15-year high school reunion where a murder has occurred, nearly every segment in the eight-episode season (of which seven were provided for this review) comes from the perspective of one of the night’s attendees. That individual provides testimony to the detective on the case — Detective Danner (Tiffany Haddish) — who considers these accounts “mind movies.” According to Danner, “we’re all the stars of our own movie” — which creates the basic angle of the series.
Based on these individual episode-length “mind movies,” “The Afterparty” sets out to build a complete picture of what actually happened on the night of the murder of a high-profile celebrity (and the suspects’ former classmate), Xavier (Dave Franco...

The 73rd annual Emmys will be on Friends cast member short as Jennifer Aniston told Jimmy Kimmel that she will skip out on the annual television awards show.
“I will not be going,” she told the Jimmy Kimmel Live host on Monday. “This is still a big step for me just to be here. It’s just baby steps.”
The Morning Show actress’s comments come just a week before the Emmys return for an in-person ceremony on the Event Deck at L.A. Live, directly behind the Microsoft Theater, this Sunday. Unlike the virtual 2020 ceremony, the 73rd Emmy Awards will see a limited amount of nominees gather in-person to accept their prizes and celebrate the best in television this year. After William Castle’s “Percepto!” or John Waters’ “Odorama,” it seems like the time has come for Swedish provocateur Anna Odell’s “The Gynaecological Cinema Chair” – an interactive experience created specially for this year’s Göteborg Film Festival. A concept that’s more than just an attention-grabbing gimmick, however, as the director behind 2013’s “The Reunion” was quick to point out to Variety following the screening of “The Examination”. Her new project, which sees Odell talk to known Swedes about subjects ranging from equality to strength, before asking them to strip from the waist down and sit in a gynaecological chair, in front of a trained professional, describing the workings of an actual exam.
“When I invited these men, I said: I am going to ask you to do something that only women do. I was afraid that if I tell them about the chair right away, they would run away,...

John Cena has joined Jackie Chan in the independent action-thriller “Project X,” set at a Chinese-run oil refinery in the Middle East.
Cena is replacing Sylvester Stallone in the movie, which had been developed as “Ex-Baghdad.” Scott Waugh is directing from a script by Arash Amel.
Chan will portray a Chinese private security contractor who is tasked with extracting oil workers from a refinery that’s been attacked. He teams up with a former U.S. Marine (Cena), when he learns that the attackers’ real plan is to steal the oil. Chan will also produce “Project X” along with Joe Tam, Esmond Ren, and Hans Canosa.
Cena was last seen in “Blockers” and will star in “Bumblebee” and Universal’s “The Janson Directive.” Cena made his name as a WWE star before starting another career as a movie actor more than a decade ago with “The Marine” in 2006. His credits include “12 Rounds,...

HBO’s “Westworld” offered some of the most profound questions in the series to date in Episode 2, “The Reunion.” This flashback heavy installment dared to take a look outside of the park and set up an exciting endgame for the season. Take a look below at the biggest mysteries introduced in Episode 2.
Our World – After a tremendous amount of speculation as to what the outside world looks like, the series granted viewers their first glimpse when Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) wakes up in “our world.” The scene takes place in a flashback, as evidenced by Arnold’s (Jeffrey Wright) argument with Ford (Anthony Hopkins), and the mention of Arnold’s still living son Charlie. Dolores is awestruck by the skyline of a modern city, remarking “have you ever seen anything so full of splendor?” The most fascinating tease occurs in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it sign reading “Space 47” with Mandarin characters appearing underneath.

After popping up on the big screen a few years back with action-hero roles in fare like The Marine, 12 Rounds, Legendary and The Reunion, WWE champ John Cena is returning to the big screen with a role in Universal’s upcoming comedy The Nest, which will pair two-time Golden Globes hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler (both of whom are stars of the highest order on the small screen thanks to Fey’s 30 Rock and Poehler’s Parks & Recreation) for the first time since 2008′s Baby Mama.
Details on Cena’s role in the film are being kept under wraps, but some sources report he’ll be playing a bad guy in the flick (definitely something new for the wrestler/actor/rapper). The Nest will center on two adult sisters (Fey and Poehler) who reunite at their childhood home and decide to throw one last giant rager there before their parents sell it.

A month ago, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings told analysts for the Wall Street Journal, “The focus is on bringing back our reputation and brand strength, but it won’t happen through grand gestures.” The once admired home video innovator was still reeling from a disastrous third quarter, in which Netflix lost roughly 800,000 subscribers and watched its market value plummet from $16 billion to $4.6 billion.
Hastings attempted an explanation in mid-September for a controversial, strategic price change that went into effect on the first of the month. But Hastings’ apologetic blog post backfired and was overshadowed by Netflix’s simultaneous announcement that it would split its streaming service from its discs-by-mail business, oddly named Qwiskter. That plan qwickly disappeared as subscriber favor declined.
Now Netflix is slowly returning to strength, just as Hastings said, and not through any “grand gestures.” The company has sealed several studio deals in its expansion to streaming in the U.

Well it looks like another predictably crappy week for DVD and Blu-ray releases (unless you happen to be a Harry Potter fan, of course). The debut of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 on home video this Friday is pretty much dominating store shelves, with the only other major new release being The Change-Up starring Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman. The direct-to-dvd remake of 13 Tzameti is also out, along with Atlas Shrugged: Part 1 and The Reunion starring John Cena. Yeah, it's that kind of week. At least there are a couple of decent non-fiction releases with Life in a Day and Catching Hell, and new to Blu-ray we have the 25th Anniversary Edition of David Lynch's Blue Velvet. Will you be buying or renting anything this week? Check out the full list of releases after the jump. Amazon.com Widgets
