Oh, my God, you guys... It's SO bad. I'm usually loathe to suggest that the filmmakers flooded the ratings with glowing reviews, but... c'mon!!! This is like The Expendables as directed by Quentin Tarantino, if Tarantino had sustained massive head trauma.
The "story" is about a family of paid assassins preparing to take out the enemy of their dying father-figure leader. There are lots of scenes about logistics that are never paid off, scenes of heartfelt, interpersonal conversations between the assassins. Or their wives and kids who we know nothing about... in short, there is A LOT of talking in this action movie that somehow never has anything to do with the plot. If the acting were better this wouldn't be so bad, but most of the cast either failed to memorize their lines or are making up the dialogue as they go.
There few "action" scenes this film does boast all look like friends goofing around with an iPhone and an After Effects trial account. The film doesn't end so much as it simply stops. The fact this is being promoted as an action movie is pure deception. The fact that the "killers" are described as "charismatic" is laughable. The fact that this film boasts so many eight, nine, or ten star reviews is suspect.
