Pat Field, costume designer of Sex and the city and friend of Kim Cattrall, agreed to join the show but only to style Cattrall's character because she's busy with her work on Emily in Paris.
Originally developed as a project for The CW, but didn't make it pass the pilot. Three years later Netflix rescued the project, but as so much time has passed, the character of Marco went from being a late teen to a twenty-something.
