The film premiered at the 10th Rome International Film Festival in Nov. 2013 (out of competition) and was critically panned. Since then the film hasn't been released in any form. Only some film stills and reviews can be found on the internet.
According to Variety's review of the only public screening of this film at the 10th Rome International Film Festival 2013, actress Phylicia Rashad, who was announced as the character 'Demeter', and actress Kathleen Turner, whose name still appeared in the credits as 'Styx', both were not in the final version anymore. Since that screening the film has not been shown publicly anymore.
Cinematographer Tak Fujimoto's final project though only on a technicality as Devil (2010) was his last released project. As of 2020, he has not worked on any movies or television shows.
Author Marie Phillips visited the set in New York City and appeared as an extra in the film, playing a dead Edwardian in the Underworld. She published an account of her experiences at 'The Independent' on Aug. 9, 2014.
One of two live action feature film collaborations of actress Sharon Stone and actor Christopher Walken. The films are '$5 a Day' (2008) and 'Gods Behaving Badly' (2013). The pair are also notable for appearing in a Woody Allen film in a bit part early in their careers, in 'Stardust Memories' (1980) and 'Annie Hall' (1977) respectively (Sylvester Stallone similarly cameoed the same in Allen's 'Bananas' (1971)). All four of the quartet of Allen, Stone, Stallone and Walken also all did voice work on 'Antz' (1998).
