(2012) The Whirlpool
(In French with English subtitles)
DRAMA
Sound edited, edited, cinematography (photographed), produced, co-written and directed by Alvin Case that has Agathe (Agathe Feoux) traveling to Niagara Falls from Paris. She is then approached by another traveler who helped light her a cigarette we find out his name is Victor (Pierre Perrier). Victor who supposed to be with a group, he actually stays in his car, Agathe then offers him to share her motel room. And it is not long before they hook up, before he takes her along to meet one of the houses he used to grew up in visiting his uncle, Gerald who is a pastor and his son, Gordon (Gordon Ramsey). Nothing much happens but I do agree with one of the reviewers claiming it to be French New Wave inspired more so by the likes of Jean Luc Godard than Francis Truffault. You watch this for what it is than for the conclusion you want. One memorable moment for me is Agatha singing eating about the "Denny's" restaurant after eating their for a week with Victor.
