Youthful Daze is an ongoing web series in the vein of "My So Called Life" with this version being from a male perspective starring and centered around lead actor Bryan James (Drew Castle). Throughout the run of the series the only constancy is that his character is the center of the show.
The fifth season of the show involved a massive serial killer story line akin to the popular horror movie "Scream". The Calabasas Strangler killed 17 characters.
Several name actors and reality television stars have appeared on the show in guest starring roles over the years including Keeping Up with the Kardashian's Scott Disick, Big Brother's Will Kirby and Pretty Little Liar's Keegan Allen.
With a majority of the casts contracts up for renewal at the end of the third season and in the middle of the fourth season the creator made a choice to release almost all of the actors from contract effectively ending their time on the series. Several months later many recasts were announced effectively rebooting the show as its fourth season continued.
