Andrea-Rachel Parker (Power), Lil Mama (CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story), Columbus Short (Scandal), K.D. Aubert (Friday After Next), Cocoa Brown (Never Have I Ever), Tobias Truvillion (Brooklyn’s Finest) and De’aundre Bonds (Father Stu) will lead the cast of the crime drama Sisters, from writer-director Jahmar Hill (Run), which is heading into production in October.

The film tells the story of three family members reunited by tragedy. After their mother’s early passing, Diamond and her “sisters” grew up under the care of their loving grandmother. But when her health deteriorates, threatening that relationship, the trio is willing to do anything to save her life — even take someone else’s.

The cast for Sisters also includes Hill, Alisa Reyes, Christine Lakin, Jensen Atwood, Ciera Angelia, Sade Whiting, Heidy Javier, Latoya Ward, Isaac J. Sullivan, Mia Mendez, Eduardo M. Pulido, Charles W. Harris III, Crystal T. Williams, Del Harrison, Devon Ray and Nabillah Nahim.

A revival of MTV’s ’90s dating show classic is coming to Quibi with multihyphenate Hustlers star Keke Palmer and comedian and Sunnyside standout Joel Kim Booster as hosts. The series is set to launch on the short-form mobile video platform in Spring 2020.

Earlier this year, MTV Studios revealed that they were bringing the classic dating show as well as Punk’d to Quibi. The original Singled Out ran from 1995 to 1998 with Chris Hardwick and Jenny McCarthy as hosts. Each episode featured a group of 50 singles competing for a date with one contestant. The new iteration will hook up a new generation of singles, of all genders and sexual preferences, seeking love in 20 bite-sized episodes. Reflective of today’s dating landscape, where everyone is connected, the series will bring online dating to life with a twist — the main dater is linked to the pool of diverse singles through social media.

TLC is back, and they’re honoring late band mate Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes with their first LP in 15 years.

Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, 47, and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, 46, released a new album, TLC, last week, and it’s their first since Lopes died suddenly in a car crash in 2002.

“It was a pain I’d never felt in my life,” Thomas says of losing her friend in the new issue of People. “It took a long time to think of her in the past tense. That was a part of my grieving time, and it took a long time.”

Like many girls, actress and singer Keke Palmer grew up dreaming of meeting a prince who would whisk her away to a life of love and happiness. In her case, it's going to happen -- eight shows a week on Broadway.

Palmer said she'll be stepping into the title role in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella starting Sept. 9 at the Broadway Theatre. She will become the first African-American to play the part on the Great White Way.

"It's honestly one of those things that I can't believe is really happening," Palmer said by phone Friday from her Los Angeles home. "I'm very excited. Very excited and nervous as well -- a bunch of feelings all at once."

Lifetime, my favorite network that spent decades swathed in pink curtains, just announced its newest biopic: Aaliyah, the late R&B songstress, will be portrayed by Zendaya, the Disney star, budding popster, and "Dancing with the Stars" vet. Engagement season is in full swing and another celebrity couple joined in as Ashlee Simpson became engaged to Evan Ross.

The "Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story" star tweeted a photo of the happy pair with the caption, "The love of my life said Yes!!!!!!"

Posting the same pic, the "Pieces of Me" singer wrote, "My baby love and I are Engaged!!! Hallelujah Hawaii !!!!!"

The pair have been dating publicly since last July, when they were spotted at his mother Diana Ross's concert after-party. Ashlee was previously married to Pete Wentz, with whom she shares a 5-year-old son.

VH1′s “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story” could be giving VH1 is best week ever with its ratings. The biopic banked a 2.9 rating in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic. Additionally, 4.5 million viewers tuned into the movie’s Monday premiere. That not only makes it VH1′s highest rated original movie ever, but also puts it at the top of the list for most-watched original movies on cable this year among the advertiser demo.

In contrast, Lindsay Lohan’s “Liz & Dick” Lifetime movie earned 3.5 million total viewer last November.

Corbin Bleu had Keke Palmer feeling red after their kiss!

The 20-year-old actress, who will be seen in DirecTV's new drama "Full Circle" and the VH1 biopic about R&B group TLC in "Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story," dished on Tuesday's Access Hollywood Live about her first small screen kiss, which was also her first kiss ever.

"Corbin Bleu was my first kiss in life," she told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover. "I was 12 and he was like my first kiss for TV... It was on the lips!"

They look just like it was the early 1990s. VH1 today put out the first photo from its upcoming biopic Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story. Left to right, there’s Drew Sidora as Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Keke Palmer as Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, and Lil’ Mama as Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes in the upcoming TV movie about the R&B/hip-hop/pop group. Drumline’s Charles Stone III is directing from a screenplay by What’s Love Got To Do With It’s Kate Lanier. The film started production in March in Atlanta where Chilli, Left Eye and T-Boz started their rise to multi-platinum fame as one of the most successful musical trios of all time. The two surviving members of the group, Chilli and T-Boz, serve as consultants and executive producers on the movie. The pic is scheduled to come out toward the end of the year.

An update on VH1's in-development biopic on pop/hip hop/R&B group TLC, which the network announced, last November, would begin shooting in early 2013, with casting underway at the time. From a VH1 press release, screenwriter Kate Lanier (What’s Love Got To Do With It, Set it Off, Beauty Shop) penned the screenplay for the film, which is currently untitled (Untitled TLC Biopic), and it said that Chilli and T-Boz had signed on as consultants and executive producers of the movie, along with Bill Diggins and Maggie Malina, as well as Alexander Motlagh for Pop Films.
