Novel idea: a movie within a movie as we see an amateur film crew make a film. The lines between the film and real life become blurred, leading to some interesting situations.
Well, that's what the intention of this film seemed like to me. There really isn't much of a plot, which did make for some long boring spells. However, the film-within-a-film piqued my interest.
Unfortunately, however, this angle doesn't really go anywhere. The film largely just goes in circles without making a point. At one point it does threaten to become a mildly interesting study on human interaction and acting vs reality but this theme ends almost as quickly as it begins.
Ultimately quite dull and pointless.
