Today when I am writing this review over the "Little League World Series Baseball 2022" video game it has been exactly a year and seven days since this game was released, three hundred and seventy two days since my love of games was trampled. This game upon release was the biggest embarrassment of a game that I have ever seen in my life. No hate towards any of the voices of the game, but quite literally e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g else about this game was atrocious. The developers who made this game proved to everyone they had no clue what they were doing, and who ever gave the go ahead for them to make this game should be held accountable for ruining hundreds upon thousands of people the love of a game we were once all brought together with not only the love for baseball, but the true passion to have f-u-n with a video game. I wasn't expecting this game to be a competitor of the SHOW at all, but at least compete with what the Metalhead Software Inc. Has done with Super Mega Baseball games. Every Super Mega Baseball game that studio has released in the past decade has been banger after banger. This game was supposed to be the fourth game in the Little League World Series Baseball video game franchise, but completely through everything that made those games fun, or to say straight up playable. The game wasn't even released with a thousand bugs like some other way too early released games, but the games lack of baseball knowledge plays out like the game is bugged. Force outs at from a runner running to home plate when the only runner in the game is running to first base proves it, but shows no one cared about the game of baseball when making this game. You can go watch that clip on the developers of the game, Gamemill, on twitter the day the game was announce along side dozens upon dozens of other peoples dissatisfaction with the games lack of baseball knowledge, and overall did everything wrong by not doing e-x-a-c-t-l-y what the Little League World Series video games did. Instantly after refunding my ridiculous $50 that this game tried to scam from people, I dusted off my Wii version of the Little League World Series Baseball double play video game and played it for hours on end. It's okay to try something new, but forcing everyone to play with fantasy teams that has no correlation with the Little League World Series, is a spit in the face for anyone to play. I just don't understand the thinking between just making every team in their respected divisions (west, midwest, great lakes, etc) but instead you play with a team called the misfits and they have a unicorn logo. I understand trying to get any and all kids to try and play this game, but I assure you even my 8 year old second cousin told me how much his baseball team makes fun of the game every time they see each other. No gameplay was even released before the release date, which sadly most times mean the game won't be good, and this time it proves it once again. This is my first ever review for really anything, but I can't explain how furious this game made me when I first got on it. Disappointed is the best word I could give this game for a one word review. For anyone who made it here, thank you for taking time out of your day to read this and most importantly D-O N-O-T B-U-Y T-H-I-S G-A-M-E. #MakeGamesGoodAgain #MakeSomePeopleWhoKnowWhatTheSportBaseballIsMakeABaseballGame.
