No pun intended - quite the interesting movie ... with a portion "missing" ... we get a time jump after the initial start of the movie ... forwarding us time wise. We see a character we expect to be around - and we know what she will be up to ... but we do not know what she had been up to all those years.
We get to see a European movie in the middle ages that has a bit of native people magic (not real magic) ... some might say it feels like native Americans. Our main actress has that power in her ... she has that inner feeling ... you see her tattoos .... her appearance, but also how she acts and moves ... and you know: you would not want her on the opposite team.
A really good drama about society trying to oppress and suppress others ... and while there may be certain flaws (or even "holes", unexplainable things or at least convenient stuff) ... the movie is really strong! Great drama ... great cinematography (don't be surprised by the black and white and "TV" format this starts off with ... it will switch) and sound design too.
