I doubt finding a more cheerful and colorful music video than this when it comes to the 1980's. Lionel Richie's "All Night Long" presents him performing the song inside
this set-like neighborhood resembling old musicals where several happy dancers perform their routines and the fun part of it is that there are many different styles of dance
being shown, from ballet-esque moves to break dance, and it's all non-stop dancing and smiling. And as said it's all very colorful, and it has this "West Side Story" energy
that it's easy to feel attracted to it (but no fights happen) along with the enthusiasm and groove brought on by Richie's song. It's a fun memorable tune. But I wonder what
attracted veteran director Bob Rafelson to it. Yet he made a tremendous job though using of simple concepts and devices. 9/10.
