Too long for too long
Was mildly amusing with relatively grounded and engaging presenters - even after jumpung from BBC to C4. Nowadays it feels like there is too much padding. Reminds me of meeting an old school friend in your forties and finding he is still banging on about he same things he did when he was 15. Some amusing historic anecdotes and nostalgic catchphrases - but wears thin when you realise that's all there is.
Some interesting guests on occassion - but are usually cut short. The producers don't seem to get what makes good TV. Seems they would prefer to fosus on attempting to devlop catch phrases and cringey sub Fast Show style quizes and skits - crumgeon, shout out, who's line of work is it anyway, pet TV etc etc etc etc etc over and over. Makes the show a difficult watch. I check who is on before I commit any time to it - the regular slots are a not worth hanging about for.
