Felix is a young man with a special gift. He has nine lives, a power cast down to him from generations past. However, Felix feels lost. He feels cast-off and dejected, and believes that his life has lost importance. How will he handle his nine lives, and will this ability become a blessing or a curse?

Felix awakens from death to discover that his demise transported him to his own utopian limbo. Upon his awakening, he reflects upon his death experience and the new-found "high" brought upon by it. As his sister becomes more concerned, everything seems to be falling into place for Felix and he is apparently cured of all former woes.

Felix starts his new job after meeting with his sister Kit and his best friend Ricky to reveal the good news. However, not everything goes so smoothly.

Kit auditions for a play, but her audition goes terribly wrong when it is interrupted. After Felix loses his job, his sister is there again to help him clean up the pieces. But is he pushing her over the edge?
