Tom Holland will soon be swinging into the Marvel Cinematic Universe again to do something neither Tobey Maguire nor Andrew Garfield got the chance to do – a fourth Spider-Man film. As we wait to see what the team comes up with this time around, we have to agree that Tom Holland has come a long way in his career. Even though he had dipped his toes into the film industry before, he gained worldwide fame thanks to his appearance as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War. It was only onward and upwards from there.

Once underpaid in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actor has now gone ahead and created history with his production company ‘Billy17.’ Tom Holland’s company has signed a deal with Sony Pictures, something which no Spider-Man actor has done before.

Matthew Rhys is set to star opposite Claire Danes in the upcoming Netflix limited series “The Beast in Me,” Variety has confirmed with sources.
The show was originally picked up to series at the streamer back in March with Danes in the lead role.
The official logline for the series states, “Since the tragic death of her young son, acclaimed author Aggie Wiggs (Danes) has receded from public life, unable to write, a ghost of her former self. But she finds an unlikely subject for a new book when the house next door is bought by Nile Sheldon (Rhys), a famed and formidable real estate mogul who was once the prime suspect in his wife’s disappearance. At once horrified and fascinated by this man, Aggie finds herself compulsively hunting for the truth – chasing his demons while fleeing her own – in a game of cat and mouse that might turn deadly.

This post contains spoilers for "The Bear" season 3.
In the third episode of "The Bear" season 3, entitled "Doors," there's a moment when the chaos falls away and things get quiet. Writer Christopher Storer and director Duccio Fabbri put the audience into Richie's (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) perspective, and as he's overseeing the front of the restaurant, he becomes hyper-sensitive to the environment around him. Richie notices two things: a fork on the floor, and someone's purse sitting on the floor at a nearby table. Later in the season, we see that he's brought in small benches to serve as purse stools, clearly trying his best to optimize the customer experience. That takes care of the purse situation, but what about that fork?

Warning: Spoilers ahead for The Bear season 3.
Bradley Cooper made a brief appearance in The Bear season 3, adding to its highlights and cameos from other stars like David Zayas, Josh Hartnett, and John Cena. Cooper's character in The Bear connects to his role in the 2015 film Burnt, sparking speculation about a potential season 4 cameo. Burnt and The Bear may not share the same universe, but a surprise connection in season 4 is not out of the question.
Bradley Cooper made an incredibly brief "guest appearance" in The Bear season 3. While the highly-anticipated third season of the Emmy-winning series lives somewhere in the monolithic shadow of seasons 1 and 2, The Bear season 3 still featured several highlights and expansions to the beloved characters and rich backstory. Similar to the star-studded season 2 before it, The Bear season 3 has several cameos including newcomers such as David Zayas, Josh Hartnett, and, most surprising of all, John Cena as Sammy Fak.

Bradley Cooper's performance in Burnt received a near-perfect accuracy score from chef Paul Liebrandt. Despite poor reviews, Burnt's accuracy in depicting the pursuit of Michelin stars was highly praised by Liebrandt. Burnt simplifies the process of earning Michelin stars, but effectively captures the high-pressure environment in fine dining.

Other than Cooper, the cast includes Sienna Miller, Omar Sy, Daniel Brhl, Matthew Rhys, Riccardo Scamarcio, Alicia Vikander, Uma Thurman, and Emma Thompson.

FX’s The Bear starring Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach became a sensation this year as the series nabbed multiple awards for its lead actors and the show itself. The comedy-drama series has become the internet’s favorite, and with season 3 already out, audiences are loving Carmy’s new adventure with his fellow chefs.

Following the tradition of the previous season, the new season also had a slew of surprising celebrity cameos. One, in particular, wasn’t exactly a celebrity cameo, but an Easter Egg, hinting at a possible interconnected universe with one of Bradley Cooper’s films Burnt, where he also played a troubled chef like Carmy.

When it comes to celebrity cameos on TV, things can get confusing real fast. For example, Larry David on "Curb Your Enthusiasm" will have whole storylines with actual celebrities playing themselves, but sometimes he'll meet fictional characters played by well-known celebrities. So, what does TV Larry think when he sees someone like Bill Hader or Stephen Colbert on TV? Do these celebrities exist in Larry's universe? And if they do, has Larry noticed their similar appearances to the people he's met? "Curb" has wisely avoided such questions, because to confront them head-on would expose a head-scratching paradox.
"The Bear" has also avoided this issue in its first two seasons, give or take a few Jamie Lee Curtis appearances that had us wondering what the Berzatto family thinks of all those "Halloween" movies. But season 3 had a finale that was filled with actual famous real-life chefs, interacting with the show's cast...

Sienna Miller and Ben Affleck starred together in the 2016 film, Live By Night, which the actor himself helmed. He was riding high on the success of his Oscar-winning film Argo, but this next film proved to be a complete disaster. It took years for Affleck to take on another project as a director. Miller may have identified one of the issues which affected the emotional quality of the film. She revealed that she had zero chemistry with Affleck.

Bradley Cooper almost bowed out of “The Place Beyond the Pines.”
Writer/director Derek Cianfrance, who co-wrote the feature with future “Sound of Metal” director Darius Marder, revealed during IndieWire’s Screen Talk live at the New Directors/New Films festival that Academy Award-nominated Cooper wavered after receiving an updated script.
Cianfrance brought writer Marder onboard to help rewrite “every word” of “The Place Beyond the Pines” shortly before shooting began. According to Cianfrance, actor Cooper was less than pleased with the updates to his character, a police officer who kills an empathetic thief (Ryan Gosling) midway through the decade-spanning 2013 film.
“I had given [Darius Marder] the script and he had a lot of notes for it, and I kind of agreed with a lot of what he was saying. And so we rewrote every word from 10 weeks to six weeks,” Cianfrance said during Screen Talk live, co-hosted by Anne Thompson and Ryan Lattanzio.

Critics praised Boseman's acting in 21 Bridges, despite mixed reviews of the repetitive storyline. The film received a 54% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes but an impressive 91% from audiences. 21 Bridges was Chadwick Boseman's last film before his death in August 2020, highlighting his talent.

Bradley Cooper was supposed to team up with Fifty Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan briefly for this 2015 drama. But it was a collaboration that never came to be.

In the same year audiences saw him star in Fifty Shades of Grey, Dornan almost appeared in one of Cooper’s quieter films. In 2015, The Star Is Born actor played a tormented chef looking for redemption in the drama Burnt. The feature boasted an ensemble cast that included Daniel Bruhl, Alicia Vikander, and Uma Thurman. Dornan was initially recruited to be a part of the ensemble.
But Dornan’s scenes were soon cut from the feature, which led to a lot of speculation. In a 2015 interview with Entertainment Weekly (via Cinemablend), Burnt director John Wells cleared the air about Dornan’s lost scene.

It has been a full 20 years since Oscar-winner Kevin Costner directed a movie but he is finally back for his first turn behind the camera since 2003's "Open Range." Not only that, but Costner decided to go ahead and tackle an ambitious two-part cinematic event that will arrive in theaters next summer in the form of "Horizon: An American Saga." Chapter 1 is due to arrive in June of next year, followed by Chapter 2 in August, making for a pretty interesting experiment on the part of Warner Bros.
Now, we have our first glimpse at the experiment with a brief teaser trailer. For those who have enjoyed Costner's work in recent years on the hit TV series "Yellowstone," this is likely to serve as a treat as he's on horseback in an old-school Western shooting his rifle and rocking one heck of a mustache. This looks like the dad movie event of the decade.

A kitchen is a tense place full of burning fires, bubbling oil, and crew rushing around to complete dishes as the head chef barks orders, and the tensions inside the kitchen usually serve as the plot of culinary movies like “Burnt” or “Chef.” However, Sitisiri Mongkolsiri’s movie “Hunger” is about Chef Paul (Nopachai Chaiyanam), who cares a little too much about perfection and his standing as a renowned chef and takes pride in his work. Pride is a necessary virtue in any workplace to ensure people can enjoy what they do, but it’s this pride that leads to the destruction of Chef Paul in “Hunger” when it goes over the top. Here’s how Paul goes from one of the most respected chefs in Thailand to a criminal in Mongkolsiri’s movie.

The first Star Wars film since The Rise of Skywalker has a brand new writer attached.
Damon Lindelof, the writer behind Lost, The Leftovers and Watchmen, was originally hired to co-write the forthcoming release alongside Justin Britt-Gibson. However, it was reported that the pair left the project in February.
Instead, Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight will now write the film.
Variety reports that the film will be announced at Star Wars Celebration in London this April.
The Independent has contacted Lucasfilm for comment.
Knight’s previous acclaimed credits include Eastern Promises, Locke and Spencer.
However, he’s also received his fair share of criticism due to projects Burnt, Locked Down and the BBC’s new verson of Great Expectations, which begins on Sunday (26 March).

That’s a wrap on the 12th annual Streamy Awards, which presented nearly 50 awards and honors to 2022’s top creators.
After going virtual in 2020 and 2021, the Streamys (produced by Tubefilter and dick clark productions) returned to Irl this year, and to its home turf: the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles.
2022’s awards were party rocked by master of ceremonies Airrack, who just so happened to walk away with two nods of his own: top First Person creator as well as a Creator Honor, which we’ll talk more about below. The show was also streamed exclusively from Airrack’s YouTube channel—a first for the Streamys, which normally broadcasts from its own channel.

Emilia Clarke’s role in Secret Invasion introduces an additional mutant into the MCU. Details about her character indicate that Nick Fury’s upcoming Disney+ show will deepen the MCU’s lineup of mutant heroes. From the looks of things, it would seem that Marvel is on the cusp of introducing Abigail Brand, a character with heavy ties to the X-Men’s corner of the Marvel Universe in the comic books.
Ever since Ms. Marvel’s Kamala Khan became the MCU’s first confirmed mutant, Marvel Studios has been shrewdly adding more mutants to the MCU. Through the live-action debuts of Mr. Immortal and El Aguila, She-Hulk: Attorney Law featured the introductions of two heroes who possess the X-Gene in Marvel Comics. In addition to its plans to use Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool in Deadpool 3, Marvel is also planning to feature Sabra – a...

Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent isn’t ready to let go of her past mistakes with ex-fiance Randall Emmett just yet.
After their disastrous breakup in October 2021, Lala has worked to rebuild her life as a single mom without the comfort of having a partner around.
Their relationship imploded after rumors of infidelity hit the internet. Pictures of the alleged incident surfaced that seemingly showed Randall out for a night on the town with two anonymous women. Lala was at the couple’s home in California expecting their first child together at the time.
Since then, Lala has continued to open up about the experience and has referred to it as a time that “haunts” her.

Fantastic Fest will be making its long-awaited return to in-person festival events in Austin this September, and per usual, the lineup is heavy on delightfully bizarre horror films from around the world.
In addition to the impeccable selection of genre fare the festival has come to be known for, the lineup also features several Cannes favorites that are sure to be players throughout the fall festival season. Ruben Östlund’s Palme d’Or winning “Triangle of Sadness” will make its U.S. premiere, closing out the festival. The U.S. premiere of Park Chan-wook’s “Decision to Leave” is also headed to Fantastic Fest, and the director will be in attendance to accept a lifetime achievement award for his mind-bending body of work, which includes films like “Oldboy” and “The Handmaiden.”

Netflix and Oscar winner Guillermo del Toro (The Shape of Water, Blade 2, Hellboy) have teamed up for new anthology series “Cabinet of Curiosities,” a collection of live-action stories that Netflix says “is meant to challenge our traditional notions of horror.”
“From macabre to magical, gothic to grotesque or classically creepy, the eight sinister tales — including two original works by del Toro — will be brought to life by a team of writers and directors personally chosen by the Shape of Water filmmaker.”
Netflix has announced today that the series will debut Tuesday, October 25, launching a special four day, double episode Netflix & Chills Halloween event. Two all-new “Cabinet of Curiosities” tales will debut daily through Friday, October 28, when the entire collection of eight stories will be available to Netflix members around the world.

With its list of new releases for June 2022, HBO Max is joining in what should be a TV summer to remember.
Not content to let Netflix’s Stranger Things or Prime Video’s The Boys to dominate the summer TV landscape, HBO is coming through with a new season of one of its big hits. Westworld season 4 is set to premiere June 26 on both HBO and HBO Max. What will this season of the increasingly confusing sci-fi drama be about? Per HBO’s synopsis it will be “A dark odyssey about the fate of sentient life on earth.” So you know, only that.
Irma Vep is the only other Max Original of note this month. Based on a 1996 cult classic of the same name, this limited series stars Alicia Vikander as a disillusioned movie star looking to remake the early 20th century French silent film serial Les Vampires.

Padma Lakshmi and guest judge Carlotta Flores greeted the chefs at El Charro, the country’s oldest Mexican restaurant with continuous operation by one family. They gestured towards a big white box full of meat being suspended in the air, drying the old fashioned way: in the sun. This dried meat, carne seca, would be the basis for the challenge, and their instructions were pretty simple: make a dish highlighting carne seca.

“What kind of fresh hell is this going to be?” wondered Jo Chan, sitting on the sidelines for the last episode of “Last Chance Kitchen” for “Top Chef: Houston.” She was responding to the latest devious twist within a twist that was sprung on Jae Jung, who was just eliminated in “Dinner in Zero Gravity,” and Sarah Welch, who has been crushing it in an almost unprecedented “Lck” winning streak. So who won this episode and finally won a chance to return to the main competition? Watch part one of the episode above, and part two below.

“I don’t know if anybody is ready to leave. I’m just happy to have swam in the same pool as everybody,” said Luke Kolpin during his exit interview after his “Top Chef” elimination in seventh place. In “Freedmen’s Town,” he and his fellow chefs made dishes that fed their souls, but Kolpin’s meatloaf fell just short of his competitors in an especially strong challenge where no one made a bad dish. But he remained positive nevertheless. “I fell in love with cooking because there was always an opportunity to learn, and you’re never going to stop learning. I’m excited to continue on this journey.”

“I think anybody who walks through the doors is shocked to see me because of how long ago I was eliminated. But I also think it should instill fear because he knows how many people I had to destroy to be here still,” said “Top Chef” contestant Sarah Welch upon greeting her latest challenger in “Last Chance Kitchen,” Luke Kolpin, who was eliminated for overly dense and dry meatloaf in “Freedmen’s Town.” She had already won five “Lck” challenges in a row. Was she able to continue her winning streak? Watch the complete episode above.
