It's certainly not close to the quality of Korean action films as far as stunts, action choreography and special effects go, but this was fairly decent for a one-time watch. The directing and editing had some issues, and the action choreography seemed dated, and there were many plot and technical issues. The casting and performances were good for the most part, but some of the acting was melodramatic and overboard. The story was a little cheesy and sappy in some parts, but was still entertaining, albeit cliched and predictable. The built-in English subtitles were horribly translated, too small, and on screen for only a second or so, thus the dialogue was hard to follow. If you're out of action films to watch, I'd say give this one a go if you're bored, it's only a brisk 80 min viewing, although you may have to rewind a bunch of times to try and make out the subtitles.
