Complete dud. The script is nonsensical, events have no bearing to how real life works. This is not the worst thing in a comedy but everything is so unbelievable that it results the worst cringe-worthy dialogue. The characters have no realism, just being presented as caricatures. The supposed evolution of the characters also has no basis, at the end of the movie they've changed because that's what the ending warrants not because anything happened that would back it up.
Some jokes do work, because out of 400 some will work, even if most are just embarrassing. Maybe children will find some enjoyment here but for an adult it's a penitence to have to sit through this.
The writers should also be ashamed of making jokes at the expense of homeless people, non-normative bodies, asians and children with nervous tics. The 80s were a long time ago.
Never watching another Santiago Segura movie, not even in the outdoor summer cineam.
