The scene where the leading couple plays with paint was quite controversial. His initial move being a swipe across her breast, and the culminating image of her face splattered in white paint, were considered "highly suggestive" by Hallmark, who asked the director to reshoot the scene. However, limitations with budget and timing forced them to push it through as-is.
