- When a world-renowned author can't find inspiration for her next fantasy book, her over-bearing mother takes her to a farmland retreat to get her creative juices flowing, but what she finds is even more magical.
- Melissa Dee wrote two best-selling fantasy novels under the pen name Georgina Cartwell. During the past few years, she has suffered from writer's block and is unable to finish the last book in her series. She instead spends most of her time eating junk food in her house. Tired of Melissa's laziness, her boyfriend breaks up with her. In addition, her publisher gives her a deadline of two weeks to finish the book. Her mother/agent Susana takes her to a farmland retreat to get her creative juices flowing. The hard-working owner of the farm, Ben Pulley, has financial difficulties and may be forced to sell. Susana makes a deal with him. In exchange for Ben helping Melissa finish the book, she'll promote his farm and help save his business. Melissa is resentful, and she and Ben clash at first. Eventually, she takes his advice and starts to make progress on her book. As the two spend more time together, they get close and realize there could be more than professional benefits to their relationship.—Patrick Lin
