Right, well this 2023 Filipino movie is listed as a drama, yet with the movie's cover I suspected that it would be another pointless movie where the director just strives to show off naked women and sex scenes. But since the movie was listed as a drama here on IMDb, I opted to give it the benefit of the doubt.
Lo and behold. "Bisyo!" was just another pointless softcore porno where writer Allan Hernandez tried to weave in a political storyline, whereas director Daniel Palacio seemed to be all about showing off naked women and also showing off graphic sexual scenes.
I didn't stick around to finish watching this movie. In fact, I made it maybe one-quarter through, and come the second lewd sex scene, I just gave up. By then it was abundantly clear what type of movie director Daniel Palacio was dishing out there. And I can't claim that I have any interest in the Filipino softcore porno movies.
Needless to say that I wasn't familiar with the cast ensemble in "Bisyo!". Not that I could claim that I witnessed anything grand or talented on the screen. The women on the cast list seemed, for the majority, to be cast for their willingness to get naked in front of a camera. Yeah, that was the kind of movie this was.
I have zero interest in returning to attempt to finish watching "Bisyo!". I just simply have zero interest in the character gallery and the pointless storyline.
My rating of "Bisyo!" lands on a one out of ten stars.
