Us Against the World

There's some suspense but mostly girl/girl sex in Allherluv's "Us Against the World", a story of two women thrown together by unseen (and largely unspecified) dangers surrounding them and menacing their future together. Maddy Burton's consistently vague screenplay is the weak element of this unusual feature-length two-handed play.

Yes, Victoria Voxxx and her paranoid friend Cadence Lux have thrown in their lot together, with Vic to the rescue as paranoid Cadence stops going to work and is convinced that everyone is plotting against her. Things get real when they've holed up at VV's house, but a threatening package for Cadence is left on the doorstep. Fleeing to a sort of "safe house", they pledge their troth to each other in a mock-wedding ceremony and have a torrid sex scene, filled with foot fetishism. The danger is clearly a stimulant, and the pair's acting and passion can't be faulted. But the pair of sex scenes under duress lacks a story resolution, no dramatic release beyond the orgasms.
