Who would have though Otaku culture would be used to conquer worlds?
This Isekai's start has a fun little twist that helps the trope and cliche packed show come together with ease.
The first few episodes are typical world building, character introductions and smirk worthy 4th wall references.
Episodes in the middle seem to loose their way a bit, and the fan service / cheese level gets a bit heavy, but it's hard to judge them for it as the final part of the story arc unfolds with an enjoyable if predictable ending.
Pros:
- Surprisingly cute.
- Wonderful use of overly worn tropes in entertaining ways.
- Fun (If predictable) twists.
- Great English Dubbing.
Cons:
- You have to be a HARDCORE fan to get all of the references.
- Very Predictable.
- Cheese factor gets high.
