- TriviaThe ship at the start of the movie is the old Queen Mary, permanently docked in LA. The actual cruise is on an entirely different ship.
- GoofsOlivia arrives home at one point, pulling into her driveway. She exits the car leaving the drivers' side window down. She sees a note on her steps, and walks toward it, and the car is visible in two more shots with the driver's window down. After she reads the note, she looks around her neighborhood apprehensively, and the car is shown again, this time with the driver's window clearly closed.
Featured review
The dockside and embarking/disembarking scenes are at the 'museum' Queen Mary at Longbeach in California - the domed building in the shots is the Longbeach's cruise terminal. The Queen Mary has three funnels.
The ship shown at sea during daylight hours is the Quenn Mary 2 - it has just one funnel.
Who knows what ship the night time shots featured but it almost certainly wasn't the QM2 which would have had its funnel brightly lit up at night.
The passenger corridors are wider than any cruise ship that I've ever been on - they looked like they were filmed in a hotel. Absent in those corridors are the handrails that every cruise ship has on at least one side of the corridor.
Nonetheless, I still enjoyed the movie.
