So many talented impressionists become 1-dimensional, latching onto key phrases and mannerisms, but never expanding upon it. Frank Caliendo used to be this way, until he hooked up with ESPN. Jay Pharoah is sadly stuck in that rut, and so many before them. They write one good hour of material, it becomes a hit, but then they never branch out.
This show is well written, well acted, and loaded with impressive new and established talent. Dana DeLorenzo was a pleasant surprise; it's easy to like her more and more as the show progresses.
One thing about Ross and his Timberlake impression: you never actually SEE him perform the impression. You only hear it.
Small nitpick. Anyway, I hope the show continues.
