If I had to make an educated guess, this probably wouldn't be an ideal film to show someone who is struggling with an eating disorder. Still, there's a lot of moving plot points that helped make this a complete movie.
Right off the bat I felt compassion for the two siblings in this toxic household. The father especially is naive in how he micromanages his son's diet, all to make weight for an upcoming wresting competition. And mom is very unforgiving as she forces her daughter to eat during family dinner. While the Thinspiration website contributes to the bulk of the kids' issues, the parents are really not any better here.
I also like how you hear the inner monologue of Hannah, and how her eating disorder drives a wedge in her friendship with Kayden.
As for any pain points, I have to say the love affair between Hannah and her best friend's boyfriend did nothing to advance the story. And also the scene of Hannah confronting the website owner was short and banal.

It seem like normal movie, but it actually shows you how true it can be if you keep going and hide it from anyone and everyone. your actions will become deadlier as you stop doing what you need to do.
This movie was as good as what it shows, and it showed. The acting was good and the movie was moving and fast paced. It was fun to watch and gave us a sight of the small things and big thing that can happen.
The movies focus on the dancer called Anna and her brother who is in a wrestler league competition. food is necessary for both of them, and we start to see some secrets that are left behind can cause very dangerous actions.

This is a theme that women in a society that fixates on being thin and beautiful as a standard of beauty are all that matters, and anything to obtain that perfection is necessary. Having survived both anorexia and bulimia, I related to the characters need and eventual surrender to the voices haunting her inside her head, whether real or imagined. I was also surprised to find hundreds of these websites, active encouraging the desire to starve, to give tips on wasting away as a show of solidarity in a club that is teetering on the destruction of your body, and more importantly your soul. The acting is superb, and the theme is one that needs to be heard. Excellent through and through.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. This movie made it seem like anorexia, a mental disorder, turns you into a horrible person within like 5 days. It genuinely made me wonder if the creators have ever interacted with a mentally ill person in their lives because of how insanely ridiculous they made Hannah act.
The way anorexia was portrayed disgusts me, and that's putting it lightly. How Hannah acts makes it seem as though people with eating disorders are absolute monsters and horrible people. The entire time I was watching, I wondered how the creators could possibly mess up that badly.
This was probably the worst movie about eating disorders I have ever watched, and that is saying a lot.
