Very Moffat, you can definitely see his hand in this, and not just the casting. As I've read elsewhere, I truly wanted to live this, so many wonderful elements, a talented writer, a phenomenal (Doctor Who) cast, and an interesting look at where we are, the whole be kind culture, which savages a tone that steps out of line.
I didn't mind it, I couldn't quite get into it, ultimately I was a little disappointed, definitely too slow.
Douglas's daughter Claudia, why aren't people like her cancelled, the generation that cancels people, the irony.
Moffat takes a big swing at cancel culture, and of course it's a straight white man who's cancelled, there are still people in the media who have gotten away with a lot.
It does serve as a reminder that humour is dead.
