This film was the victim to a con played by a deceitful producer. There was supposed to be 100k budget but deliverables like equipment and set pieces were never provided as promised and the money disappeared. The cast and crew rallied together during filming, calling in multiple favors and working extra hours. They were still able to complete the film on schedule.
Scenes were shot in a real working morgue. Cast & crew were told production may need to stop at any time if a body was brought in.
The cast & crew turned an old cosmetics factory into their hospital, utilizing all 4 floors as different sections of the asylum.
In the room David is living inside there are crayon drawings of each the characters deaths on the wall.
The tattoo on Conner's neck says "When the Lights Go Out" which was the original title of the film.
