This film short is an excellent trip down memory lane. We know the producer, who wrote the screenplay, his first attempt. It is loosely based on real-life events. It is set to a great sound track. He nailed the time era, with the cars and clothing, too. Even the vintage movie posters. In fact, much of the film was shot in an actual old movie theatre of that era, which has since closed. Many were first-time actors and thought they did a great job. In fact, one even performed some of her songs for the movie, again great job. Full disclosure, we got to stand in as extras, so watching the production process, with all the takes, was really interesting.
I thought this film was very enjoyable, had a good script and one most of us growing up in that era can relate to.
Can't wait to see what other scripts and movie ideas he will develop.

"The Curtain Closes" is a very entertaining movie. We enjoyed watching it. The story is well conceived and most interesting. We thought that it was quick paced and kept moving. The action was exciting and interesting. The interaction amongst the cast members was especially entertaining. The selection of the cast members seemed very appropriate for the character. It seemed as though the length of the movie seemed longer than it actually is. This reflect on the intensity and interest. It is also interesting that the content of the story included real world activities and was made so believable. This all made it easy to relate to. I could feel myself being a part of the story.
