Remember when Nickelodeon was good? When Nick GAS was still around? When we still had awesome shows like Kappa Mikey, My Life as a Teenage Robot, and Jimmy Neutron? I do too. Man, those were the DAYS.
And now we have Breadwinners.
This is a show that tries to be "cool" when its theme song is a cheesy rap (although I must admit it is pretty catchy) and it's full of potty humor, and the two main characters have the most tryhard "we wanna be cool" names I've ever heard: SwaySway and Buhdeuce. All these guys do is twerk and deliver bread.
I will say that I enjoyed the show a LITTLE bit, so it gets a 2/10 instead of a 1.
Nickelodeon has seriously gone down the tubes lately. This show isn't making it any better. If you REALLY want a quality cartoon, then go watch Kappa Mikey.

Nickelodeon has been garbage lately, first Korra, then Sanjay and Craig, NOW THIS... What the crap is this? This sucked! Nickelodeon gave THIS a series, yet they rejected The Modifyers? All this show is is two ducks twerking and making unfunny butt jokes. There ARE a couple innuendos, but it's nothing you haven't seen before. This is an extremely poorly made cartoon. Bad acting, bad characters, bad plots, HORRENDOUS ANIMATION, and no redeeming factors. Any parent that lets their kids watch this waste of time should be shot. If you want a REAL funny but silly cartoon, check out Uncle Grandpa on Cartoon Network. Also watch Wander Over Yonder on Disney XD, stay clear of Breadwinners on Nickelodeon. Save yourself.

The first time I saw this show, I knew that nick has lost it's marbles. The premise is ludicrous. You can tell that nickelodeon has gone nuts by green lighting a show takes the idea that ducks like bread and run off with it for TWENTY-FOUR episodes. The character names are absurd.
The humor in this show is half witted, often weak, and abuses butt humor.(e.g Twerking). It's a show about badly animated ducks cracking weak jokes, singing badly and all the while twerking frequently and delivering bread to stock images of ducks. The music is 80's arcade music on speed, and it's character design is laughable. (see below)
The animation? SwaySway's head is too big for his body to support, and his face is gargantuan and jarring. (in the pilot, of course.) The 2 main characters look like Flappy Bird recolors/rejects instead of ducks. At least with the creators of Allen Gregory they regretted making the show and canceled it. Here, nick believed it would be their redemption.
This show is mediocre and lazy, using stock images of ducks for every single other duck character, even the bread. It's lazy at best, and jarring at worst. (in this case, it's in between lazy and jarring.)
It's copying what 3 other series (Uncle Grandpa, Amazing world of Gumball, and even dick figures) did before it. It tries to be random and funny, and fails miserably. Randomness and Toilet humor aren't inherently funny. You have to make it funny. Same thing goes for pop culture references.
This show tries to be Fanboy and Chum Chum, Season 6-9 Spongebob, and Sanjay and Craig at the same time by believing that randomness and butt jokes. Never once do they get a laugh out of anyone above the age of 10.
(The fans are naive and immature, yes, but you can already figure that out by watching the show for longer than 10 seconds. Nick doesn't care, as long as it's making $$$ and is PG. The parents don't care, as long as it's PG. The plots? i've seen better plots from any modern YTP on the web.
Making Fiends and Invader Zim were good shows, and they didn't live to reach their apex. This show, on the other hand, lives to see a second season. This says a lot about nickelodeon's current standards. Sad much?
As for those who don't understand as to why we don't think it's awesome or want it canceled, it provides nothing of substance, doesn't follow a coherent plot, and it's humor is mostly toilet humor with Twerking thrown in.
Bottom Line, giving this show even a 1 would be too generous, and the arguments made in this shows defense are futile. Maybe the fans will develop a better sense of humor, and maybe this show will be cancelled, or hopefully forgotten, even.

I gave this show a go. I saw the commercials awhile ago but I didn't want to judge a book by its cover. Before anyone bashes me saying I'm basis towards older shows making this review unfair; I like Teen Titans Go!, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Gumball and Tenkai Knights. I don't mind shows like Steven Universe, Gravity Falls and Sanjay and Craig. Clarence looks promising too. I laughed my butt off and I can't wait for it to come out. But THIS show is what I'm going to be avoiding like the plague along with Cartoon Network's Uncle Grandpa. First of all, this show gives its viewers the wrong idea that feeding ducks bread is okay. It causes them a lot of problems. Secondly, this show takes unoriginal to a whole new level. Honestly, I can't take this seriously. I can't imagine the creators thinking to themselves that this show is quality stuff. Last but not least, it's gross and lacks good comedy. If I had a nickel for every bad joke on today's Nickelodeon, I'd have enough money to take this off the air. Maybe I'm exaggerating. Go ahead and judge it for yourself. If you like it, good for you. Don't let me stop you from liking something. But I hate it and it makes me angry to just look at it. It is a waste of a time slot for an actually good show.
RANT AHEAD: Let me just start off by saying when it comes to nick, originality is dead and ignorance is bliss. I gave up on nick awhile ago but I saw my little brother watching this and I said well I don't really watch cartoons besides Adventure time and Regular Show but I'll give this a try. I couldn't make it past 5 minutes. Even my brother ended up saying it was terrible and he's still a little kid. This is just a show filled with all the stupid bathroom jokes we wish would go away because they got old QUICK. Nickelodeon is messing up and I don't know how many more of shows they can allow to flop as bad as this one. They only thing keeping them afloat is there sitcoms it seems. As for there cartoons this is just becoming as repetitive as Justin Bieber songs. And it's not a good repetitive. They seem bent on that this formula of 2 brothers/friends going on pointless misadventures with no actual plot in sight is going to work, But it doesn't. Fanboy and Chum Chum, Robot and Monster, Sanjay and Craig, and now breadwinners. They all feel like the same terrible idea. Breadwinners in no different. No real plot. The main characters are both idiots as usual. There is no character development so far and judging by nick's past there will be none. The characters are unlikeable. The animation isn't too great either. It's not johnny test choppy, but it's not great. This show has no redeeming qualities at all. Nick needs to get itself together because they haven't aired a new good show in years now. Funny that they passed on Adventure time because it was pitched to them before Cartoon Network and whether you like AT or not, it's gotten great reviews and is successful. If you ask me, nick needs to take a page out of Cartoon networks book and make a show with a deeper plot that still has a lot of comedic and cartoonish elements. And stop using these washed up fart jokes that aren't funny to anyone anymore with a duo of characters that are complete idiots. My theory, if you like Breadwinners you IQ is equivalent to the breadwinners.
The Verdict: Breadwinners is not much else but 2014's Fanboy and Chum Chum. It's full of unoriginal jokes, poor writing, lackluster animation, and not really anything appealing about it. I would say stay away from this show.

This is one of the worst shows i have ever seen in my life.. the animation sucks the lessons the show teaches are bad and there is so much violence and gore to the point where it will make your four year old want to puke.

I have lost faith in Nick because of this show. I mean, how could they have sunk so low? Lets see, the show is about two ducks, who look like flappy bird if he grew arms and legs and painted himself acid green, named Sway-Sway ((tall and thin)) and Baduce ((small and red)). ((Very creative names, am I right?)) They fly around in a blue rocket van, delivering bread, with names like pumper knuckle punch. Now, had the jokes been about the bread puns, considering the name is breadwinners, maybe the show would've been good. But what do we get instead? Fart jokes, butt jokes, and some very creepy moments. Like the love load episode, where Sway Sway is trying to get a girl duck, who isn't animated, but instead a photograph, ((Amazing world of gumball this show isn't)) and he is being a psycho about it.
Allow me to put this in perspective. Remember Hey Arnold and Rugrats? These shows taught kids very important lessons, such as gender roles, how people are different, ((the bird man episode of hey Arnold)) and accepting death ((Chuckie's mom on the rugrats)). Breadwinners tells kids to act like Sway-Sway and Baduce, creeps who feel like they can get away with anything.
I'll be up front, I kind of liked Fanboy and Chum Chum, it did get some chuckles out of me, and Sunjay and Craig got a few chuckles when it wasn't about poop or fart jokes, and Rabbids Invasion, based on one of my favorite video game series, is a really good show in my opinion. Breadwinners just combines the worst aspects of the new spongebob episodes, Fanboy and Chum Chum, and Sanjay and Craig, and thinks it can be funny, when really it's more like a little kid telling his friends the worst jokes over,
Nick rarely shows T.U.F.F puppy or any of its over good shows to give us this crap. It's obvious that Nick no longer cares about the viewers, they only care about pandering to children, and their bottom line. How this show is rated #1 for kids is beyond me.
My advise to you? Skip this show, it isn't worth sitting through, don't let your kids watch it, they may become dumber watching it.

I actually loved the show when I found out it wasn't on anymore I was upset because that was one of my favorite shows so please can you bring the show back for me and all of the kids who love this show.

I actually just signed up for this IMDb account solely to write this review. I am not a huge fan of this show, but I just couldn't believe how badly the other writers were trashing it. It uses language as 'fowll' as 'bubblenuggets' and 'crumbbucket' - oh no! There are some lessons like not procrastinating and forgiving/looking out for one's friends - who cares if they are derivative? Reminds me of that South Park 'Simpsons Did It' episode when I read the long reviews complaining about how it 'rips off' so many shows. Guess what: most shows do! At least when they allude to 'Night of the Living Dead' the zombies return to their regular selves in the end, so my son wasn't scared by the episode. When the Breadwinners fail their driving test they don't blame the officer, in fact, when she then gets into a jam, they still find a way to save her without breaking the law. While Breadwinners will never be Winnie-The-Pooh, this show is not spawn of the devil!
I find many of the songs to be fun & catchy - often hear the 'I just wanna be the best bread winner...' song in my head, sometimes it's the 'Sway-Sway and Buhduece run food fight club.' I even found the love song/video to Jenny Quackles to be way cute!
Why all the hate reviewers? If you are so worried about teaching lessons, maybe dig into your past and find that: 'If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all!' axiom. This show isn't hurting anyone. Please save your trumped up outrage for a more worthy target. You guys strike me as some real crumbbuckets!

I'm probably going to sound harsh on this, but this is one of the WORST SHOWS I'VE SEEN MY WHOLE LIFE! I mean, come on Nick! Why can't you see that kids don't like fart jokes or anybody? It's...Not....Funny. Plus, why are the ducks twerking and showing their butts? It's disgusting. What happened to shows like Hey Arnold!, Doug, CatDog, or Rugrats? You know what else makes me mad? Nick airs the most grossest shows ever instead of mature cartoons like Hey Arnold! Why Nick? Why???
Anyways, I hope this show gets cancelled soon. If this is renewed for another season, oh my gosh I'm going to strangle something!!!! I'd rather watch Dora than this bullcrap....

As of 2010, I'm Anti-Nickelodeon. Yes, that sounds stupid but look at it this way... Both Fairly Odd Parents and SponeBob were airing for 10+ years now and all there new shows I do not like, not even the 2012 TMNT or Korra. I'm sorry to say but, this show is not doing Nickelodeon any favors. But at lease some people like the 2012 TMNT and the Korra show, so throes shows are okay with me. BreadWinners, stray a way form it! Like DON'T WATCH IT, AT ALL!!!! In the year of 2014 there is so many other good shows out there, good shows = better than BreadWinners. If your watching Nickelodeon and BreadWinners comes on, change the channel. I hear that Cartoon Network has a few good shows on now.

The Show would've have been a bit more than just pelting bread, which their comedic presence are stale as hard crust on a moldy bread, Nick is really making this type of generation for their cartoons, and I quote "Pathetic". The Only good is Sam & Cat , Steven Universe, and SpongeBob also, to this is similar to Sanjay and Craig, because of it's recycled uses that falls it's comparison, it isn't any significant good for this and this is like poking fun on Angry Birds, Top-Bottom. what's good of this if it's not enough to tell the difference to others, I don't know why they canceled iCarly, Victorious, and others, the final thing to say is It isn't fair.

To start off, if I could give this a zero, I would. It abuses butt humor in a way that makes me want to crawl into a hole and bury myself. I would rather watch a ten hour marathon of Fanboy and Chum Chum than watch one episode of this. It's not funny, it takes butt humor to an unnecessary level, and it still manages to be gross at the same time. I have watched three episodes of this show, and I have to say, if Nick makes another show like this, I'm gonna quit watching it. What was the people of at Nickelodeon Studios mindset when they said,"I think Breadwinners is what people like in today's world." Yeah, maybe three year olds like this, but not all of your viewers are three. The only bright side to Nick is Dan Schneider is making a new TV show, but I'm talking about cartoons! For the love of Spongebob Nick, please never do this again! Even Sanjay and Craig can be more creative with butt humor than these ducks. And also, even the idea of this show. Ducks that deliver bread and shake their butts while driving around a van with a giant rocket strapped to the top. I can just imagine a bunch of guys sitting around a conference table, coming up with this bright idea, and cartoons for the future. Nick, here is my message to you(Pretend for a minute that they'll read this.): I watch Spongebob Squarepants on weekdays at 6:30 in the morning if it means avoiding Breadwinners. Out of all the horrible shows that came out during 2011-2014(Examples: Dog with a Blog, Sanjay and Craig, Fanboy and Chum Chum, The Thundermans, etc.), Breadwinners has managed to come out at the bottom of the list. I'd like to see this show make it through season 1. Nick, if you want to keep kids loyal to you, stick by creating shows with more depth. Spongebob, although has a lot of comical nonsense, at least is funny.
This is animated garbage. This is on a level of awfulness so bad it rivals Johnny Test which I thought wasn't possible. The first thing wrong with this show are the names of the 2 main characters SwaySway and Buhdeuce those aren't real names. Second the animation is pretty bad too, while it has a decent frame rate everything is too simple with too many basic shapes, though other cartoons have simple styles like We bare bears or Harvey Beaks they have charm to there style breadwinners dose not have anything charming at all In its art a side from a few nice background drops. The writing for this show is the worst its like the writers think kids will stop watching if there's even a single frame of slowing down so they have to have the to ducks (which they barely look like ducks at all) constantly doing something and it's just unbearably annoying. Annoying is the perfect word to describe this show, it's nothing but toilet humor, dancing, pop culture references and catchphrases which are way too loud and get old very quick. The concept is pretty dumb too technically there suppose to be milkmen only with bread which in there world is a life sustaining resource, that pretty dumb even if this show was aimed at younger kids. Speaking of kids don't let your kids watch this crap it will most likely rot away all there brains cells. You think I'm over reacting but kids take in a lot from a lot of thing and that includes T.V. There is another show on Nick for them to watch It's called Harvey Beaks and it is show that kids can both enjoy watching a learn a moral too. Bread winners is just a waste of animation, money and a time on Nick which is suffering greatly due to it's over saturation of bad shows. And on the very top to the bad show list is Breadwinners.

I read most of these reviews and thought "wow, are these guys serious? " I get that everyone is supposed to have an opinion, but this show is so underrated that I had to make a profile just to show what I think of this show. Out of the horrible shows and original movies Nick has displayed lately , I would have thought that people would at least give breadwinners a try, but no.Most reviews I have read, I bet haven't even tried to really watch the show. I'll admit, when I first sat down to watch it, all that was running through my mind was stupid, stupid, stupid. I was so ready to look down on the show that I couldn't even find a way to enjoy it. But when I watched it a second time with my younger brother, I actually had a great time watching it and I laughed a lot. This show isn't that bad. The only reason why so many people dislike it is because obviously in this generation of "youth" shows must have hidden eggs or go through some type of post apocalyptic war to be good. Simple cartoons like Wander over Yonder gets no love. And it's not that I'm saying shows like Adventure Time or Gravity Falls or Steven Universe are bad shows because they have hidden messages, I enjoy those shows to, but going for the serious background story all the time can get boring and predictable. I say more people should give breadwinners a chance. The show has a great sense of humor and tends to give off a kid friendly vibe. The characters are well rounded. The plots are easy to follow, the atmosphere is hyper and the voice acting is amazing. I wish people would appreciate shows like this more often. To me, I can see it being in the line of shows like Chowder, or Camp Lazlo even courage the cowardly dog. Hopefully, in the near future, more people will give this show a 10/10.

JUst a bunch of booty shaking perverts who deliver bread. THey're LITERALLY OBSESSED with their own butt cheeks! They are always twerking.Nickelodeon, try harder will you? Not everything is about "butts", "farting" or messing with "underpants"! That is what only perverted people do! The animation is like, one frame a second, the plot lines are unimaginative, and the BUTT JOKES AREN'T EVEN FUNNY. It's on the same level as Rabbids Invasion, Sanjay and Craig, and even The Thundermans! Did I mention Every Witch Way, too? COME ON, NICK! LISTEN TO YOUR FANS FOR ONCE AND STOP CREATING AWFUL BOMBARDMENTS LIKE THIS!! Unfortunately, Nickelodeon did not take my advice and made an even worse show than Wild Grinders. Now, they made a show with harmless- looking green versions of Flappy Duck, wearing small, seemingly adorable outfits. But don't let that trick you.

The show "Breadwinners" is terrible. This show is one of the worst cartoons I ever watched. It's about two ducks, Buhdeuce and SwaySway (might be nitpicking here, but what kind of name is that?) who delivers breads. The animation is awful, the characters is unlikable, and the humor.. ugh. The humor in this show is just, butt jokes and overused 80's references. It's really stupid and unfunny. The animation, as I already mention before, is awful. I'm not against Flash animation, beside, you can make a great things with Flash such as Motorcity, but in this show, they didn't even tried. I can't find anything good in this show. And I can't see why people like this show. Overall, this is a terrible cartoons and must be destroyed.
To be honest, I'm not surprise why Nick greenlight this show. I mean, Nick passed Constant Payne, The Modifiers, and Adventure Time, moved Legend of Korra online, greenlight so much horrible live action shows, and many more. What do you expect from a network like that? :/
