The orchestra performing in the film is the Verenging Hofstads Jeugdorkest from The Hague. Founded in 1923, it is the oldest youth orchestra in the world.
Author Carry Slee has a cameo, walking through the door with a couple of little dogs. The scene is a homage to director Alfred Hitchcock and his cameo in The Birds.
The film is dedicated to the late Hans Pos. He was together with Maria Peters and Dave Schram founder of Shooting Star Filmcompany the production company of this film.
