All the weapons used in the film are original and approved by the Indian defence.
Akshay Kumar donated 50% of his fees for doing the movie to the Indian Army.
In the movie, a police officer named Gawde, says that he was involved in the Opera House operation. This is reference to director Neeraj Pandey's previous film Special 26 (2013), where the climax takes place at the Opera House.
Many scenes have been shot in Gautam Buddha University at Meditation Hall, Shanti Sarover and the library at Greater Noida.
