This film is a chance to see a lot of young actors, writer and director making their debut, but is a bit underwhelming.
It seems to aim to be a new Underbelly drama about cool attractive young people getting mixed up with criminals, but the plot is mixed up and confusing, and some of the characters unbelievable or unappealing stereotypes.
I found it difficult to figure out what the relationship between the many characters was - four characters were siblings, another was an ex-lover, others were friends and some were enemies, but it was hard to keep track of who was who.
Add to this, there were constant references to past events and problems that were not properly explained.
Some of the actors do their best with the limited material, but others don't look as if they are up to the task. Writer Ellie Popov plays the lead character Ludmiller, but her acting is better than her writing at this stage.
