Don't be fooled, like me. Don't judge a film by its cover. In the vein of Tolkien and The Dark Tower, this most definitely is not.
The Dark Tower is a poor book to film adaptation also a poor film in its own right but is watchable to the end.(just)
The Tower of Silence is an abomination that cannot even enter the category of, "so bad that it's good".
The acting ranges from extremely poor to just about passable.
The dialogue is verging on the ridiculous.
The story is a run of the mill fantasy/dark ages tale that's done so much better elsewhere.
The choreography of the fight scenes is laughable.
The special effects cannot be called special and they're not very effective either.
The hordes of bad guys, 'The Fallen', must have all gone away on holiday as there's not very many of them here and they look like extras from a 1950's zombie film, but with less menace.
I only managed to watch half of this film. Do yourselves a favour and don't try to watch it all, even if you get it as a freebie.
