The character of Raj Bansal is allegedly based on Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman and Managing Director of India's largest conglomerate, Reliance Industries. The huge jenga-like house shown in the film is a real-life structure located in the heart of Mumbai - called Antilia, it is the residential address of Ambani. In the film, Bansal's son Varun is accused of killing a man whereas in real life, one of Ambani's sons was also accused of killing a civilian in a car crash, which was subsequently suppressed by his father, who is also the richest man in India. The film's story-line is also based on Ambani's profession, hinting his alleged involvement in the 4G spectrum auction and being in shoulders with the Indian government and media. The fact that the film is produced by Reliance Entertainment, which is owned by Ambani's estranged brother Anil, may be seen as a confirmation to this real life semblances.
