A funny, silly at times, rambling caper film about friendships...with a people are not always as they first seem kind of message. Although it's not what I would class as high cinema, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
This is the kind of movie which makes the intellectual chic TV magazines drool ...I should have known better when I read their rave review ,I would have spared 90 min of my life.
Edouard Baer hogs the stage ,to put it mildly ;I have rarely seen such a smug , narcissistic self-indulgent actor :he literally savors his words ....which is not much because the lines are neither witty nor really funny (unless the frozen sherperd 's pie counts);nobody here has supplied real poetry ,acidity, bite, humor;what could have been an interesting look at the entertainment industry without steady employement ,where they often run into difficulties when it comes to pay their comedians ,has turned into an annoying and very boring lack of weight or consequence .The jokes are ponderous ,the long wandering all through the night in Paris a spate of clichés ;fans of Audrey Tautou are going to be disappointed ,for she appears only now and then ,probably a wise move in such a dud.
Ah ,outside of their financial difficulties ,they need a monkey for their show;will they be able to find one?

A simple and funny movie.
Edouard Baer is brilliant as always.
If you want to share a good moment with Edouard, I recommend you this movie...
The French touch!
