Chennai, Aug 31(Ians) The release of the trailer of ‘Jawan’, where Tamil superstars Vijay Sethupathy and Nayanthara play stellar roles, have evoked a huge response down south.

Anthony Mackie, the star of “Falcon and the Winter Soldier” and the next Captain America, is planning to open his own film production studio in his home town of New Orleans.

News of the facility on a 20-acre lot in East New Orleans was first reported over the weekend by local outlets in New Orleans and confirmed by the city’s mayor Latoya Cantrell, as well as official land records in the city.

“This is incredible,” Cantrell wrote. “The influx of productions will not only bring economic growth but job opportunities!”

A representative for Mackie did not immediately respond to a request for comment to provide any additional details about the film studio.

Foster joins Annette Bening who takes on the role of Nyad. Foster will play Bonnie Stoll, her coach and longtime friend.

Saniyya Sidney will take on the role of Colvin, Colvin was 15-years-old when she bravely stood up to racism, getting arrested after refusing to give up her seat on a crowded segregated bus in Montgomery, Alabama. This was nine months before Rosa Parks became a symbol of the Civil Rights era symbol for courageously doing essentially the same thing. Initially embraced by Civil Rights leaders for her courage, Colvin was subsequently erased out of history when those same leaders decided a poor, dark-skinned teenage girl would not be the ideal face for their public campaign.

UK broadcasting union Bectu has produced six demands to tackle bullying and harassment, including all shows having a Safeguarding Officer, Intimacy Coordinator and the creation of a pan-industry complaints policy and external reporting body to examine historical issues.

Some of the demands (copied in full below) chime with the BBC’s newly-introduced on-set guidelines communicated to producers over the summer, which were revealed exclusively by Deadline last month and are being enforced on all new BBC shows.

Bectu is also asking for all staff to undergo training on equality, diversity and inclusivity and for “clear, enforceable contractual obligations” to be established around working conditions and bad behavior.

Under Bectu’s plan, the industry would forge both a policy for processing complaints of bullying and harassment and an external body to examine unresolved historical complaints.

Bectu head Philippa Childs described them as a “blueprint for how the industry can tackle this endemic issue.

Auckland, May 17 (Ians) More people watched cricket in New Zealand than ever before in the first season of New Zealand Cricket's (Nzc) six-year deal with Spark Sport and Tvnz, the Nzc said on Monday.

Nzc said that the combination of free-to-air and digital subscription as a ground-breaking arrangement which is taking cricket to not only more Kiwis, but demographics of New Zealanders previously lost to the game.

Nzc said that the six matches screened live on Tvnz 1 reached 1.86m viewers. Nearly 240,000 Spark Sport viewers watched the New Zealand men's and women's teams while Test match viewing numbers were "very encouraging". There was also an increase in engagement, in terms of both highlights packages consumed, and average time spent viewing.
