Waste of potential
Let me say that I didn't like what I saw too much. I'm not going to say it was completely bad because the show offers a lot of good moments; however, in the long run, I felt the potential was wasted. Overall, I think it needed a lot of work in the story and especially in the character department.

Cool But Disappointing
So this is one of those animes that a decently high budget so the art work was really good but unfortunately the story was lacking and weak. Is it worth watching? Sure. It's only 10 episodes so it's pretty easy to get through and there are aspects that can keep you entertained. Just keep your expectations low.
So the highlights of this anime. Art, worth it. Idea for the story, interesting concept. Fight scenes, decent. Unfortunately with all of these reasons they also have downfalls to them.
Downfalls of this anime. Art cgi is definitely lacking and has that super unrealistic feel to it. Doesn't completely unsubmerge you from the watching but can be a little irritating at times, still better than most. The idea for the story doesn't seem to go very deep. It's like the writers just dipped their pinky toe into the possibilities and was like "yeah that's good enough." It definitely made it frustrating at times to continue watching because the rules to keep the story going were not well executed. It's also a love conquers all story with the most popular porn genre. Which irritated the **** out of me. Especially with what the mc says at the end to correct everything. Also had me saying "well that's stupid" out loud when the mc said what was the concluding quote of bringing finalization to the story. The fight scenes for the most part were pretty esthetically pleasing but at times seemed to short and kinda pointless. You never feel fulfilled by them that's for sure and left thinking that could have been way cooler with the concept that were given to you.
So in conclusion. Watch it if you are bored and have nothing else to watch. Keep your expectations very low. And enjoy the bits and pieces that can fuel your own imagination. Just keep it separated from this anime when you do, to keep from getting frustrated.

Waste of time
Anyone who watches "Big Order" has in most cases already heard of Mirai Nikki ("Future Diary"). Future Diary was a very popular anime when it came out, although it received mixed reactions - some loved it, others didn't like it at all. Personally, I really like Future Diary and that's why I was very curious about "Big Order", as it is based on a manga by the same author. You expect a lot because "Future Diary" is super cool and well thought out... and this suggests the manga author is a very talented author... similar to Togashi from Hunter x Hunter. But who knows... maybe he wanted to do an experiment with "Big Order". At this point he had already earned enough money and fame. But a patchwork of scenes that seems totally confused is not a work of art. In the credits you see images as you would see them through a kaleidoscope... but the colorful crystals only appear to be randomly mixed up... they have an inner order that comes about through reflections. But it is precisely this symmetry, this order that is missing from "Big Order". The fact that the anime only has 10 episodes is significant. With each episode you are thrown into a plot, which has already developed a lot further than where it ended in the last episode. The resulting gaps - they will never be filled. The plot seems confusing and is reminiscent of an advertising sequence... and even though I thought the beginning was somewhat good and liked the protagonists... after a few more episodes I was still not into the plot... and was becoming increasingly bored .
