Right after the family leaves for its holiday, the SUV can be seen driving north on Highway 661, then turning off east into Dry Creek Road in Licking County, Ohio. This roadway proceeds eastwards to Vanatta. In the aerial view, there is a green/white house on the corner, which is obscured by trees in the next shot, as the vehicle turns onto Dry Creek Road, as the sign there says.
This Dry Creek Road also comes off the same highway just a few yards further down, which the observer can see from the aerial shot, to the extreme left, and this continues into the Ohio countryside, eventually merging onto a road that continue northwest to Appleton and Hartford.
