Parody: (noun) "an imitation of the style of a particular writer, artist, or genre with deliberate exaggeration for comic effect."

I blame people like Friedberg and Seltzer for diluting what parody actually means. It used to mean that there was some care put into it. Movies like "Airplane!" got it. Movies like "Top Secret" got it. Movies like "Hot Shots" got it. But then at some point it because less about crafting a visual joke or a situation and it just became spewing a catchphrase, going for the obvious joke and pop culture references.

So what happens in a movie that is parodying what is essentially pop culture? You get this. An unfunny utterly cringe worthy movie.

There is nothing positive to say about it. Literally nothing. Avoid this at all costs.

What the hell did I just watch? More importantly, why did I watch most of this? I was genuinely embarrassed for the actors and actresses in this hilarity. I can only hope some agents lost their jobs over this piece of crap. Holy moly Batman, this is bad.

You will regret ever having heard of this garbage.

This barely even qualifies as a film. If I could borrow one of their lazy puns to describe it: cucking frap.

The biggest question throughout this movie isn't why it was made, it makes you wonder why in the hell Amy Smart is in it at all

It's not a horrendously overly low budget film, but the acting was bad enough that I expected the bow-chikka-bow-wow to play and everyone starts getting naked and nasty.

What you get insead is an attempt at a parody film where some things had potential to be funny, but fail in every way possible.

Amy Smart and Simon Rex seem to agree to do anything these days to just add something to their working resume... where as the rest of the cast either put in too much effort to go over-the-top, or hardly any at-all, they may as well havw phoned in their performances.

Overall, I snickered once... hardly worthy of saying the movie had one laugh. For a parody, it fails to be funny, provide entertainment or make you feel the last hour and a half of your life was worth it watching this.

I joined this site only to give review for this JOKE movie I was hopeful just to see one thing comedy if I could rate this movie 1 out of 100 I would say -2000. I couldn't even continue watching this thing to the end what a waste of time.

This is unwatchable, I rather watch Dragon Ball evolution or Avatar the last air bender movies twice. I couldn't even go beyond the first 20 min, that shows how horrible this movie is. Whoever says this movie is any good is a piece of Sugar Honey Ice Tea!! like the movie!.

I watched this with my teenage kids hoping for Scary Movie type spoof where there's a few cheap laughs.....and after watching we all said that this was probably the worst movie we had ever seen. I didn't laugh once. I feel they wrote and made this movie while extremely high or drunk, because I have no other explanation with how bad this was.

Is this movie stupid? Hell yeah it is! Does it make you want to cringe because its so bad. At times absolutely! But Beaverine played by Tony Cavalero makes the movie. He absolutely nails the character and I hope they make a spin off on this goofy parody based on him. If they do, I'll definitely throw my money at that!

This movie doesn't pretend to be anything more than a cheesy play off of all the recent comic blockbusters. It is so terrible at times...that its actually good!

As the other reviews have stated its fairly horrendous that this movie ever made it out of production... My first thought was wow these actors must be desperate for work. That said, it hits the mark. Its meant to be stupid and it certainly is. I actually enjoyed it once i came to terms with the fact only an idiot would truly enjoy it. So chalk me up an idiot.

This movie was a good waste of time.. Once... Never again.

I understand a bad film that is supposed to be bad like Kung Pow: Enter the Fist. This though, is a different kind of beast. I think a movie like this should never be released but should only be seen by the people who made it. I remember back in High School we made some really bad films (that we thought was funny and clever) and we would watch it over and over and laugh. Classmates that saw it laughed too because they knew us. I would never ever let anybody else on Earth view it.

This movie is so bad, that I couldn't finished it from beginning to end. I skimmed through it after a while and there are scenes that are so cringe inducing to watch, I feel bad for some of the actors. I am sure they are decent actors in different films with different scripts and directors, but this is unholy by God terrible.

I never ever want to see random people do a Joker parody, I was squirming so hard in my seat. Damn.

Anyways, it is supposed to be a bad and cheap film, but when the writing and "parodies" are this lame and lazy, this movie deserves the lowest.

Dear god this movie is trash. should have never been made.

I was hoping that this would be a funny parody like Superhero Movie, or that it would be so bad that it becomes funny again. But this is neither of those, it's just bad. It looks like a home video with some Adobe After Effects. An hour and a half wasted that I can never get back...

A comedy should have jokes, a drama should have good acting, an action/adventure should have good writing. Amy smart must've said 'no' to Weinstien if this is where her career has ended up. The 'director', 'writer', 'producers', and most of the 'actors' etc, should remove those titles from their resumes and never attempt these jobs again. I suppose we should be glad that the camera operator didn't drop the camera and still use that take. Does this review contain spoilers? The entire movie is spoiled.

I couldn't get past 10 minutes of this movie, it was so horrible. Ummm maybe I'll go back and give it another try but I'm scared.

Good idea, long time since was waiting for a movie making fun of latest pop culture, but so so so poor fulfilment

I'm not going to lie I seen the image and said hey let me watch this trailer and I have to wash on the trailer I literally thought this was a great concept and it actually was not bad A lot of big name actors that you haven't really seen in a while and I really think Simon Rex would actually do a really good job as a joker in a legitimate joker movie but it was actually fun. So if you got some random time like 2 hours set aside for nothing put this on I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it it's a mix between Star wars, avengers, DC, X-Men even parts of mad Max fury road and a few of the sprinkled fun ones in there so sit back have some fun and don't think about it just go with the flow and think how good this movie could be if it had a major budget behind it.

The cast is great. C'mom! It has Shaun Michaels, Simon Rex and how does Amy Smart still look so amazing?

It won't be for everyone but if you like dumb jokes, extreme silliness and bad parodies then give it a chance. Think the Epic Movie, Wolverine scene...

Hahaha. Shawn michaels is poorly painted with dollar store green paint and plays a character named yoga.

This movie is star wars the avengers and justice league all mashed together...with well known actors like Kevin from the league and Amy smart. Problem is effort for this one. Lack of effort. Bad script bad jokes bad green Shawn michaels. Lmao he kicks someone's head off tho so it gets two stars.

Watching this movie was like watching a porno without the nudity or sex. Terrible plot, terrible writing, terrible acting, terrible filming. It's like to was recorded on Android phones by some dudes on their day off from working at Walmart. It's supposed to be a parody of super heroes but I have no idea which ones they are trying to spoof. I want to contact each and everyone who had a part in the making of this movie to give me $5 for my time and trouble . Even then, it still wouldn't take the bad taste out of my mouth after sitting through this. Why did I sit through the entire thing? Only because I felt it fair to give it a shot. It was on Prime video, so basically free, but my time has to be worth something.

The movie is the equivalent of watching paint dry. Nothing even hits here, the story, the comedy , hell even the superhero and supervillain parodies actually don't even hit (doesn't matter if marvel or dc, no one is speared). Well the tropes and clichés are easy to identity, the méxico stereotype, some Thor wannabe, the teen boy with no powers , the wannabe jean grey and sigh jered Leto joker (although the Leto joker itself does act like a parody). Star Wars surprisingly wasn't speared. You bet your bottom dollar tat there was something you've seen in Star Wars in this stink bomb of a film.

Overall it's bad.
