The Offspring have announced their 11th studio album, Supercharged, arriving October 11th. The punk veterans also offered up the lead single, “Make It All Right.”

The feel-good song is ripe for the summertime with a catchy “ba-ba-da” sing-a-long refrain, anthemic power-pop chords, and the imitable and endearingly nasally voice of Dexter Holland. The track oozes positivity and joy.

A new coaster themed within the Fast & Furious universe is zooming into Universal Studios Hollywood.

The Los Angeles-based theme park, which is housed next to the Universal back lot, announced Wednesday that construction had begun on the coaster, which will be based on the more than two-decade-long franchise that has earned the studio more than $7 billion at the global box office.

The attraction will feature “innovative and technological achievements,” according to the announcement, that have never been employed to create the new thrill ride. The coaster’s state-of-the-art system will immerse guests in the film’s universe, in line with Universal Destinations & Experiences’ decades of expertise in developing contemporary rollercoasters.

No completion date was announced, and no further details about its storyline are available. But according to Ktla, reported that the coaster’s concept art features cars that drift on the coaster’s track, mirroring the movement of the speeding cars in the films.

Disney fans young and old love a great adventure with Mickey Mouse and the gang. Over the years, Mickey and pals have headlined a variety of shows, each taking viewers on fun and fantastical adventures. The gang’s latest television hit is the Disney Junior animated series, “Mickey Mouse Funhouse.”

Mickey and the gang find the magic funhouse, Funny, in the woods. When Funny calls to them, they each hop in a car to race to their old clubhouse from “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.” From there the gang attaches their cars together to create the “Floaty Coaster” to fly to the funhouse. Funny then lets the gang choose between three themed doors for their adventure. The gang is then transported to a new destination and ready to solve any problem they might face. They come across friends, old and new, and Funny comes along too, morphing into different shapes to fit in.

Evil is firming up its legion of good.

Andrea Martin, who plays Sister Andrea on the Paramount+ drama, will be a series regular in Season 3, TVLine has learned exclusively.

On the movie side of things, Disney is premiering another major title this month.

Settebello Entertainment will represent producer-filmmaker and former NFL player and broadcaster Ed Cunningham in all areas.

Cunningham, who was part of the producing team of the Oscar-winning football doc Undefeated, will work with Byron Austen Ashley’s management and production company to expand his reach in the non-fiction space, executing on several ancillary and entrepreneurial projects. The new collaboration is also aimed to help Cunningham develop and package a full slate of scripted projects for stage, film, television and streaming platforms.

In addition to serving as a producer on Undefeated and The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters, Cunningham was at the center of the Washington Huskie’s 1991 National Championships win and played five years for the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals. Russi Taylor, who voiced various animated characters including Disney’s Minnie Mouse, died Friday in Glendale, Calif., our sister site Deadline reports. She was 75.

Taylor brought the iconic mouse to life for more than 30 years, in TV shows, movies, theme-park attractions and other Disney endeavors. As recently as this year, she voiced the character in Mickey and the Roadster Racers and some Mickey Mouse shorts.

Russi Taylor, the voice actress behind the famed Disney character Minnie Mouse, died Friday in Glendale, California, the Walt Disney Company confirmed. She was 75.

“Minnie Mouse lost her voice with the passing of Russi Taylor. For more than 30 years, Minnie and Russi worked together to entertain millions around the world—a partnership that made Minnie a global icon and Russi a Disney Legend beloved by fans everywhere, said Disney chairman and CEO Bob Iger. “We’re so grateful for Russi’s talent as well as the tremendous spirit and great joy she brought to everything she did. It was a privilege to have known her and an honor to have worked with her, and we take comfort in the knowledge that her work will continue to entertain and inspire for generations to come. Russi will be sorely missed and our hearts go out to her family and friends, along with our deepest condolences.

Hoda Kotb is tapping into a southern accent for her latest role.

The Today co-anchor lends her voice to a new character, Mrs. Sweetums, during a guest appearance on Disney Junior’s Mickey and the Roadster Racers.

“Mrs. Sweetums is southern, and she just is ’cause she’s sweet as sugar,” Kotb says in a behind-the-scenes clip about her experience recording for the show.

“She runs this beautiful candy shop full of colors of smells and sweetness, and she is this sweet woman who just loves everybody,” adds the 53-year-old, who is mom to 10-month-old daughter Haley Joy.
