The first television series starring Donald Duck in which Tony Anselmo doesn't voice him. Here, Donald is voiced by newcomer, Daniel Ross since Tony Anselmo was too busy voicing Donald in other projects. Anselmo wasn't happy about his role being recast.
Due to the recent death of Russi Taylor, the show was on hiatus until they could find the new voice artist for Minnie Mouse. In 2020, Kaitlyn Robrock became the new voice of Minnie Mouse.
The series title was originally Mickey and the Roadster Racers but was changed to Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures during the release of Season 3. On Disney+ it's a separate series.
