Used a different English-dubbed voice cast than the original series ones, as several could not be reached or the then-child actors voices had grown older.
Voice actress Monica Rial (whom was in her early 40s), had to really come up with and use a young voice for the 'Sakura' character. However, this was not a concerning problem in the Nelvana English-dub of the original series, as voice actress Carly McKillip was then-aged eleven, when she lent her voice.
The English-dubbed version premiered sixteen years after the original series had done it's run (from the final episode that aired in December, 2001).
