Exclusive: Last season, as Ellen Pompeo’s Meredith Grey was battling Covid, Grey’s Anatomy introduced a dream beach motif that reunited Meredith with beloved dead characters from the show, Derek, George, Mark and Meredith’s sister Lexie. Meredith’s late mom, Ellis Grey, was not part of the recurring theme, but she will be part of the storyline in the ABC medical drama’s upcoming season, which just started production.
Kate Burton is set to reprise her role as Dr. Ellis Grey in multiple episodes, starting with the Season 18 premiere airing on Sept. 30. Since the beach sequence concluded when Meredith woke up toward the end of last season, it is unclear how Ellis Grey will be reintroduced on the show. Ellis was last seen in the 2019 Season 15 episode “Blood and Water,” appearing to Meredith in a dream.

It was a series of ups and downs for Macy, Mel, and Maggie on Charmed (2018) Season 3 as they faced a couple of their toughest challenges to date.
From the Tomb of Chaos to the Whispering Evil, it's obvious more so now than ever that the sisters are risking their lives every day to protect the greater good.
Sadly, the season ended on a somber note and left us wondering how the characters will find a way to move forward. For now, though, we'll take a look back and discuss everything good and bad about the third season.
Best Episode
Charmed (2018) Season 3 Episode 8 was an outstanding hour of television that was undoubtedly one of the show's best.
The story alone had enough substance to pull us in and make us care about the outcome. But then it was taken one step farther by uniquely structuring the story to emphasize its importance and Macy's pain.

The actor on her new podcast, surviving Harvey Weinstein and why she left the ‘toxic’ US
Rose McGowan was born into a cult – the Children of God – and has spent most of her working life in what she considers another secretive, manipulative sect: Hollywood. As an actor, she appeared in Scream, Grindhouse and the supernatural TV drama Charmed. In 2017, McGowan accused Harvey Weinstein of raping her in 1997, and her revelations set off the chain of the events that led to the producer being sentenced to 23 years in prison in 2020. McGowan is 47 and lives in Mexico City; she has a forthcoming 10-part podcast, The Brave Truth, which combines tales from her extraordinary life with idiosyncratic riffs on subjects from politics to Britney Spears.

Now that is what we are talking about!
After a slow start to the final few episodes of Charmed (2018) Season 3, the origins of the Whispering Evil came to light on Charmed (2018) Season 3 Episode 16. And, as we predicted, the Tomb of Chaos was at the center of it all.
But the Charmed Ones had to figure out exactly who the Whispering Evil infected first before they could take it down.
The mystery at the center of the hour revolved around identifying the person that the ancient creature from the Tomb of Chaos had possessed because they had attacked the employees at SafeSpace.
The question of whodunit arose suspense and thrill, a couple of things that have been missing from the previous episodes. It kept us on the edge of our seats, and just like that, it piqued our interest in this storyline.

Like we told all of the Batwoman fans, we think this might be due to The CW not wanting to compete with tonight's huge, NFL Super Bowl event tonight. Again, that's just pure speculation on our part. What we can tell you ,for certain, is that The CW has confirmed that they are scheduled to air the new episode 3 next Sunday night, February 14. 2021 in its usual 8 pm central standard time slot. So, please be sure to mark down that very important date and time on your TV show calendars.

As someone who has fond memories of gathering with the family for "event TV" nights such as NBC's epic Thursday night comedy lineup from the early 2010s, it's been a real treat to watch the horror homages of Riverdale and the supernatural mysteries of Nancy Drew back to back on Wednesday nights, and I'm thrilled that both series have been renewed by The CW for the 2021-2022 season:
Press Release: February 3, 2021 — The CW Network today renewed 12 of its current scripted series for the 2021-2022 season, including its new breakout hit Walker, it was announced today by Mark Pedowitz, Chairman and CEO, The CW Network. There's still magic in the air at The CW. The smallest broadcast network has renewed the Charmed TV series for a fourth year which will air as part of the 2021-22 television season. Just two episodes of the third season have aired thus far.
The Charmed TV show stars Melonie Diaz, Madeleine Mantock, Sarah Jeffery, Rupert Evans, Poppy Drayton, and Jordan Donica. A reboot of the 1998 series, the show follows three sisters who discover they are witches in the wake of their mother's murder. Soon, this powerful threesome must stand together to harness “The Power of Three” and protect humanity from the demons that prowl the earth. In season three, the "Charmed Ones" and their whitelighter, Harry (Evans), continue their battle with The Faction -- a cabal of humans trying to steal magic...

The young-skewing network has ordered up The Flash (Season 8), Riverdale (Season 6), DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (Season 7), All American (Season 4), Charmed (Season 4), Legacies (Season 4), In the Dark (Season 4), Roswell, New Mexico (Season 4), Batwoman (Season 3) Nancy Drew (Season 3), and Dynasty (Season 5).
The network is also bringing Black Lightning and Supergirl to an end this season, with the former set to return next week and the latter set to return later in the season.

While the network has not picked up the new Arrowverse series for a second season, it is thought to be a slam-dunk, but the network still wants to wait and see how it performs in its highly-promoted series premiere.

The CW has seen enough from its “Walker, Texas Ranger” reboot starring Jared Padalecki, renewing the freshman drama for next season after only two episodes.
“Walker,” a new version of the Chuck Norris-led drama that aired for eight seasons in the 1990s, was the network’s most-watched series premiere in five years. “Walker” was among 12 series to get picked up for next season by the network. Additionally, both “Walker” and the upcoming “Superman & Lois” were given more episodes this season.
The other renewals are: “All American,” “Batwoman,” “The Flash,” “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” “In the Dark,” “Charmed,” “Legacies,” “Nancy Drew,” “Riverdale,” “Dynasty” and “Roswell.”
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the ensuing production issues it caused, The CW did not formally begin in its 2020-2021 TV season until last month. Along with “Superman & Lois,” the network has upcoming premieres of “Republic of Sarah” and “Kung Fu” set for later this year.

The following contains spoilers for the Motherland: Fort Salem season 1 finale.
We’ve seen witches as students in the Harry Potter universe, as warriors on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and as messy friends on Charmed. But rarely, if ever, have we seen them as government-sanctioned soldiers in the military fighting on behalf of their country and its citizens. Motherland: Fort Salem gives us a unique take on witches, war, and womanhood. Witches aren’t folk tales whispered about around campfires, they are a living, breathing people with a unique culture. And, in the world of Fort Salem, magic is not just a tool used to empower a small, hidden population of witches; it is a weapon used by militaries around the world.
We spoke with creator and showrunner Eliot Laurence (who also created Claws) about the first season, its characters, and what we can look forward to in Motherland: Fort Salem’s confirmed second season.

It’s time for the Ncaa college football league championships, the battles which will help determine the teams that will play for the national championship and select bowl games.
Not surprisingly, the fervant interest in those outcomes dominated the Friday night TV ratings, as ABC’s Pac-12 match between Oregon and Utah topped the night, doing a 1.3 in 18-49 demographics and an overall 5.2 million audience.
The strong showing by college football didn’t stop wrestling fans, who gave Fox’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown a strong 0.7 in demos while drawing a 2.45 million audience, a total approximating last week. The demo number also held steady from last week, when the show was edged by the rerun of the annual Frosty the Snowman cartoon at CBS.
Over at CBS, Hawaii Five-0 was down to 0.6, a drop of two ticks, but still drew a healthy 6.5 million in total audience. That had a ripple effect on its follow-ups,...

ABC’s coverage of the Pac-12 football match-up between Oregon and Utah drew 5.2 million total viewers and a 1.3 rating, dominating Friday night in the demo.
Over on CBS, Hawaii Five-0 (6.5 mil/0.6) slipped two tenths in the demo to match its season low, while Magnum P.I. (6.3 mil/0.6) and Blue Bloods (7.3 mil/0.6) each dipped one tenth — with the latter, as it does, commanding Friday’s largest audience.

This Charmed review contains spoilers.
Charmed Season 2, Episode 8
At the top of the season, I discussed how the show seemed to be taking Macy and Harry's relationship in a direction I didn’t expect — one that felt out of left field — and, since then, the show has indeed taken their relationship to... strange places. Harry has discovered that he was essentially split in half, and that his other, darker side was made an entirely separate entity: a Darklighter. This Darklighter — who I’ve lovingly called Not-Harry and now Dark Harry — attacked the Charmed Ones, then started targeting Macy specifically. He would visit Macy in her dreams, but his interactions were... not unpleasant.
Dark Harry has been sent by some as-yet-unknown master to collect power, including from the Charmed Ones. But because Harry himself has feelings for Macy,...

On the mid-season finale, we learn that sometimes wanting to see the best in people can put you in danger.
On Charmed (2018) Season 2 Episode 8, the Charmed ones are forced to ask themselves tough questions about who they trust and what they believe.
In an effort to defy her sisters, Maggie abruptly accepts Parker's wedding proposal.
In less than a few minutes, she goes from telling Parker she does not wish to be married, to telling Macy, Mel, and Harry that she is going to marry Parker.
Following her heart has always been both a blessing and a curse for Maggie, but she runs into trouble when she allows her feelings to control her.
Maggie was initially very clear that she was not ready to get married at 20 years old. She should have taken more time to think about her decision before rushing to accept Parker's proposal.

It was a nice day for a dark wedding (until it wasn’t) on Friday’s Charmed, which wrapped the first half of Season 2 with a series of heartbreaking, game-changing developments.
Determined to prove her sisters wrong, Maggie accepted Parker’s marriage proposal, making it all the way to the altar before Harry and Macy — with an unexpected assist from Abigael, who had her own plans to make manifest — whisked her back to Safe Space. Unfortunately, the Charmed Ones’ new hideout didn’t quite live up to its name, as Parker showed up to take his jilted frustrations out on Jordan.

Unfortunately, Negative Flash was a let down.
Since The Flash Season 6 Episode 8 is the episode before Crisis, we knew Ramsey had to be dealt with quickly.
However, Negative Flash did no more than giving us creepy smiles and follow Ramsey around. After all that build-up, you'd think there would be something bigger in store for Negative Flash.
Could Negative Flash at least have caused some mayhem?
Maybe have used his powers to gather victims for Ramsey to infect? Do something more than being a sidekick slash bodyguard.
Guess with all the money going into Crisis they needed to stay within a lower budget.
In sickness and in health.

At least some things never change. Iris proved once again why she is Mrs. West-Allen.
Her unwavering hope and trust in Barry never fails to be amazing.
Though she is often reckless and stubborn,...
