General Hospital spoilers tease that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) could certainly use her brother right about now. No, not Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Cyrus is a handful of his own on his best day. It’s not even completely clear if Cyrus has reformed from his drug kingpin days, even though he claims he has and has found religion.
Laura’s other brother, Martin Grey (Michael E Knight), has quickly become beloved to the mayor, even though they just met a couple of years ago. With Laura’s reputation about to blow up thanks to her plans regarding Heather Webber (Alley Mills), Laura can use all the support she can get.

General Hospital is giving fans a very special gift this holiday season as Ellen Travolta is set to return to the long-running soap to reprise her role as Gloria Cerullo, mother of Rena Sofer‘s Lois Cerullo. According to Soap Opera Digest, Travolta will return for a guest stint on the ABC drama for Thanksgiving, stepping back into the role she played from 1994 to 1996. Travolta’s comeback arrives just weeks after Sofer returned to the soap, as her character, Lois, landed back in Port Charles to help her daughter Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) following her firing from her job at “Deception.” While not everyone was happy to see Lois back in town, her former on-screen husband Ned, aka Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth), might be hoping to reignite their old romance. Gloria never particularly approved of Eddie back in the day, so it will be interesting to see if she still...

If playing as a charismatic dark magician who can summon a small army of creatures is your thing, then Warlock may be the best class in Baldur’s Gate 3 for you. Unfortunately, even the most optimistic Warlock player may soon realize that the class can sometimes struggle to find a home in the later parts of the game. Well, at least they can if you’re not using the best Warlock build.
For this build, we’re going to be focusing on a powerful multiclass Warlock that lets us get the most out of the class’ combat potential by borrowing a few attributes from Sorcerers. It’s called a “Sorclock,” and I think you’re going to love what it can do.

You have to feel for Léa Seydoux, the star who was slated to be the all-but-official face of this year’s Cannes Film Festival, with four vehicles in the official selection. Covid intervened, preventing her representing any of them in person. But the one she’s best in was also the lowest-profile.
Placed out of competition in the new Premieres sidebar, Arnaud Desplechin’s “Deception” is a strange, stifling but frequently intriguing attempt to find a cinematic match for the literary voice of Philip Roth, from his autofictional 1990 novel of the same name. It often succeeds, which is to say the filmmaking often appropriates the self-aggrandizing indulgences and knowingly oppressive masculinity of a work that isn’t among the author’s finest. But it’s Seydoux’s sly, bright presence, as an obscure object of desire who gradually places the protagonist’s failings in relief, that keeps us involved.

Aguirre-Sacasa, who serves as executive producer on The CW’s “Riverdale” and its offshoots “Katy Keene” and “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” on Netflix, will write the pilot. Maggie Kiley is set to direct.

Based on what we’re hearing from Disney, the seventh and final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, now on Disney Plus, will be with us on February 17th, 2020. One of the more challenging aspects of the animated series, though, is that you won’t get a chronological experience by just following the released episode order. Thankfully, then, we now have a correct viewing order courtesy of the official Star Wars site, which tells us all you need to know to catch up on The Clone Wars before its return.
The Clone Wars bridges the gap between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, providing a significant level of detail for anyone wondering what was going on in between the two prequel movies. When aired, episodes could often be bundled together as arcs, linked by one-off episodes that might explore a different part of the galaxy adjacent...

Since “Veep” series creator Armando Iannucci left the presidential series after its fourth season, television has been longing for his very particular brand of satire. Finally, that longing has been answered: HBO just dropped the official teaser trailer for his latest satire, space comedy “Avenue 5.”
Starring “Veep” alumnus and all-around comedy veteran Hugh Laurie, “Avenue 5” is “set in the future, mostly in space” onboard the titular Avenue 5 space ship. Laurie plays Ryan Clark, captain of the Avenue 5, who — as you can see from the trailer below, set to Harry Nilsson’s “Spaceman” — knows how to charm any passenger who takes up residency on his ship, even in major crisis time. He also knows how to pull off an empty space captain one-liner in any situation, whether it’s “fly safe, fly true,” “let’s keep our eyes on the prize,” or “set your phasers to fun.”

Variety brings word today that Mark Wahlberg has climbed aboard Uncharted in the role of Victor “Sully” Sullivan, treasure hunter and all-around father figure to Nathan Drake.
Providing Wahlberg and Sony reach an agreement, the Transformers actor will join Tom Holland for the PlayStation-inspired blockbuster. And fun fact: Wahlberg was originally tipped to play the adult Drake long before Sony’s video game movie was sent back to the drawing board, at a time when David O. Russell (whom Wahlberg collaborated with on The Fighter) was in the director’s chair.
Word is Mark Wahlberg’s interest in the project never waned, even when the Powers That Be decided to angle it more as an origin story featuring Tom Holland as the younger Drake. And so, after losing directors Dan Trachtenberg and Shawn Levy (Stranger Things) to creative differences, and appointing Travis Knight at the helm, it seems Sony’s Uncharted...

The CW has added three more episodes to the second season of “All American.”
The decision comes after Monday night’s season premiere set a series high for viewership. It brings the number of episodes in Season 2 up to 16, which matches the first season’s episode count.
Here is The CW’s official description of Season 2:
“The return of ‘All American’ finds Spencer James (Daniel Ezra), now a football State Champion, with a tough decision to make. Does he stay in Beverly Hills and play for Coach Billy Baker (Taye Diggs)? Or does he move back home to South La, reunite with his mother, Grace (Karimah Westbrook), brother, Dillon (Jalyn Hall), and play for his father, Corey (Chad Coleman) – the new head coach for the South Crenshaw Chargers? This isn’t an easy decision for him to make because it’s not just about football. It’s about choosing between the people he loves.

‘Prodigal Son’ Star Michael Sheen Tells Us Why We Find His Serial Killer Character ‘Just Delightful’
After playing an angel on Amazon Prime Video’s adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s “Good Omens,” Michael Sheen is going about as close to demon as one can by taking on the role of a serial killer in Fox’s new crime drama “Prodigal Son.”
On the new Greg Berlanti-produced series, Sheen plays Dr. Martin Whitly a.k.a. “The Surgeon,” a predatory sociopath who is incarcerated for killing at least 23 people in the ’90s. Now, you might be thinking someone like that would be horrifying be around — except Martin is just delightful to watch. Or at least we think so, and Sheen explained why.
“It’s so funny that you say that, ‘He’s just delightful.’ I love that you say that,” the Emmy-nominated actor told TheWrap. “And in a way, it was there in the first script that I read. The confusing thing about this man is...

This week, Justin Chon’s Ms. Purple will make its Los Angeles debut at the Nuart, attempting to gain some traction when it expands to New York and other markets in the following weeks. The film premiered at Sundance to critical acclaim and was acquired by Oscilloscope shortly after. The intimate storytelling of Ms. Purple, which tells the tale of two estranged siblings in L.A.’s Koreatown, matches that of his previous film Gook, also a celebrated Sundance favorite.
Also opening this weekend is Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman’s documentary Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice from Greenwich Entertainment, chronicling the life of the iconic singer, her activism and how she became one of the most prominent voices in the music industry.

It's no secret that HBO's dark new teen-centric series, Euphoria, is full of bops. From bangers to classics, we've identified the songs that make up most of Euphoria's eclectic soundtrack, but the thing that still remains a secret is the name of that incredible theme music. What makes this even trickier is that every episode has been different, and the song is always in the background of the recap. Episode four's theme music was particularly haunting, which is why we dug even harder to find out what it is. We're pretty sure that the song you're hearing is the instrumental version of "Stay" by indie artist Richard Macklin, who is little known now but hopefully won't be for long.
Related: If You're Already Crossing Your Fingers For a Season 2 of Euphoria, Here's What We Think

In a recasting, Tom Payne is now to set to topline the Fox drama pilot “Prodigal Son,” Variety has confirmed.
The role was originally held by Finn Jones. Sources say the decision to recast the role came after the pilot’s first table read. This marks one of the first major recastings of this pilot season. Payne now joins a cast that includes Michael Sheen, Bellamy Young, Lou Diamond Phillips, Aurora Perrineau, and Frank Harts.
Payne is best known for his recent role as Paul “Jesus” Rovia on AMC’s “The Walking Dead,” with his character being killed off in the Season 9 midseason finale. His other TV credits include “Luck,” “New Worlds,” and “Waterloo Road.”
He is repped by Paradigm, Curtis Brown Group, Untitled Entertainment, and Felker Toczek.

Iron Fist star Finn Jones has found his next project. The actor has been cast in a new serial killer crime thriller for Fox called Prodigal Son. Finn will join the previously cast Michael Sheen, Bellamy Young, and Lou Diamond Phillips.
The one-hour series will center on a character named Malcolm Bright, who will be played by Jones. Bright is “an acclaimed criminal psychologist. He knows how killers think, how their minds work. Why? His father (Sheen) was one of the worst — a notorious serial killer called ‘The Surgeon.’ He will use his twisted genius to help the NYPD solve crimes and stop killers, all while dealing with a manipulative mother, annoyingly normal sister, a homicidal father still looking to bond with his prodigal son, and his own constantly evolving neuroses.” The character is also said to be and “intelligent but deeply damaged person”. Fresh off his time on The Walking Dead, Tom Payne will headline Fox's serial killer-tinged crime drama, Prodigal Son
Prodigal Son, an upcoming Fox TV crime-solver, is not only promising a stylish take on the genre, but an intriguing platform for TV refugees. The Walking Dead's Tom Payne nabbed the starring role after Iron Fist's Finn Jones was first cast and subsequently removed. Payne will be joined by The Orville‘s exiled crew member, Halston Sage, and even former Scandal actress Bellamy Young (Scandal), not to mention small screen standards like Michael Sheen (Good Omens) and Lou Diamond Phillips (Longmire).
The show is being produced by Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. TV. Chris Fedak and Sam Sklaver, a duo worked together on ABC’s recent, short-lived crime-solving magician series, Deception, serve as writers and executive producers, joined in the latter capacity by Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter.

Fox has given a pilot order to one-hour police drama Prodigal Son, from Deception creator Chris Fedak and Sam Sklaver, Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros TV.
This marks the first pilot from an outside studio for Fox this season, with at least one more, Deputy, from eOne, pending. Prodigal Son joins three other Fox pilots — comedies Richard Lovely and Geniuses and drama Filthy Rich — along with two straight-to-series animated comedies — Bless the Hearts and Duncanville — all from the network’s longtime corporate sibling 20th Century Fox TV, which is headed to Disney as part of the $71.3 billion asset acquisition. (Duncanville is co-produced by Universal TV.)
As part of decreasing the net’s dependence on 20th TV, Fox bass last summer revealed a plan to have half of the scripted development for next season come from outside suppliers vs. 10% last season. The network has ownership in all projects.

Fox has given a pilot order to the drama project “Prodigal Son.”
The one-hour series centers on Malcolm Bright, an acclaimed criminal psychologist. He knows how killers think, how their minds work. Why? His father was one of the worst — a notorious serial killer called “The Surgeon.” He will use his twisted genius to help the NYPD solve crimes and stop killers, all while dealing with a manipulative mother, annoyingly normal sister, a homicidal father still looking to bond with his prodigal son, and his own constantly evolving neuroses.
The project hails from writers and executive producers Chris Fedak and Sam Sklaver. Fedak most recently created the FBI magician drama “Deception” for ABC, on which Sklaver was a writer and consulting producer. Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schecter will executive produce via Berlanti Productions, with Warner Bros. Television producing.

Fool us once, shame on you; fool us twice, congratulations, you’re probably a con artist.
In the world of TV, pulling off the ultimate con means doing everything it takes to make others around you and those watching at home believe your lies. The con artist is just that, an artist. Someone who crafts a fake world around him so well, no one can see it’s a mirage. On Nov. 25, another master deceiver will join the list, John Meeehan of Bravo’s “Dirty John,” a man who can dance and romance his way to your heart only to mooch off you and leave you in the dust just as easily.
In honor of his introduction, TheWrap has compiled a list of 12 of the all-time scammers that have graced your TV.

This isn’t a trick (or even an illusion): Deception‘s magic man Jack Cutmore-Scott may be heading back to ABC soon.
The actor will star in and also write What If?, a new comedy currently in development at the Alphabet network, according to our sister site Variety. The single-camera ensemble comedy “explores how seemingly insignificant choices, with the help of a little bit of luck, can have life-changing consequences,” according to the official description. Cutmore-Scott will serve as a supervising producer on the potential series, as well as penning the script and leading the acting ensemble.
