- TriviaTyler Grey, who plays Trent a.k.a Bravo 4, is a former US Army Ranger. He served in the 75th Ranger Regiment, 2nd Battalion as a sniper. Post Rangers he screened and was selected for Delta, AKA CAG (Combat Applications Group), a Special Missions Unit and the army equivalent of DEVGRU ( Naval Special Warfare Development Group). He was medically discharged after sustaining injuries from an improvised explosive device in 2005. His wounds are noticeable on his right forearm.
- GoofsMost of the mission countries where Seal Team operates in bear no resemblance to their real world counterparts. With the exception of Belgrade, Serbia, Afghanistan and Mexico. For instance, Kinshasha, the capital of DR Congo is portrayed as being near the Savanna when in reality Kinshasha is a leafy coastal city on the Congo River. Congo is nowhere near any savanna. The Congolese geography is mostly forest and rolling plains. The team would've had to travel to rural Kenya or Tanzania before operating in any savanna like geography.

Solid Show
Look...no network TV show is going to be totally accurate. This isn't a documentary. I was a JAG and that TV show wasn't even close to being accurate. But it WAS entertaining. And, like this show, it captures the spirit and fellowship of a tight military team. Whoever these folks are dissing the show I have news for you...women play vital roles in our armed services. The contribution here is fairly accurate from what I understand. This is entertaining, it's patriotic and it honors the men and women in the front lines of the war on terror. I also appreciate that it attempts to highlight the sacrifices of the family members supporting our servicemen and servicewomen. As a veteran and the father of two servicemen, I thank CBS for a pretty solid and interesting show. Thanks for honoring the best America has to offer.
