When JD arrives at the swimming hole, a boy greets him and then disappears, then when three bullies push him under the water, the next scene shows other kids at the swimming hole, but when JD makes it to shore, only he at the three bullies are on land.
At the 13 minute mark when JD is looking at the Estimated Cost Of Attendance page, there is a typo at the top of the screen. "Category" is misspelled as "Catergory."
When Glenn Close holds her freshly dead husband, you can see the supposedly departed blink twice in close-up.
At the beginning, Bev takes her family back to Ohio from Jackson, Kentucky, the viewer sees a "Welcome to Ohio" sign and they pass over a stone bridge that spans a large creek. However, the entire border between Kentucky and Ohio is the Ohio River, which averages a half-mile across with steel-span bridges at every crossing.
