Enjoyed the movie. Happy they threw in that cute little nod to the Bionic couple when prince was frolicking in the field!

This is a cute movie with an equally cute cast. Jen Lilley is great in this, as she is in most things, but the movie seems to drag on due to there being almost no substance to the story. They seemingly took a script outline and shot an entire movie on it. Even so, it's worth a watch if you're not expecting too much. I was shocked to see that they clearly cloned Denise Richards to play the evil girlfriend, enjoy New York Denise.
I wish this could have been less corny. From the start, Dan was love gazing on Carly. His girlfriend's role was so exaggerated., the end was more than predictable. I just liked all of the actor's ability to try their best to deliver the story. It was just badly written! Great cast! Dumb story!

Typical Halmark movie. Jen was the best of the bunch. Could have done without Lee Majors & Lindsay Wagner.
It was annoying that there were no lenses in Jen's glasses throughout the movie.

7.3 stars.
This is about a bunch of dog lovers, a couple not so much dog lovers, veterinarians, dogs, and more dogs. There are more than just dog dogs, there are people dogs, but not really, the people dogs are all pretty people, and not dog people. The point of this movie is about two people who have always been in love and they know they are in love, and everyone is manipulating situations to set them up with dogs and each other, and maybe the dogs will help them see that they are still in love. Did I mention they already know they love each other? So why aren't they together? He's with the old bully queen of mean from high school, and she is very pretty.
The leads get together with the help of 6 million dollar man and bionic woman...you'll see. It's a super cute movie, but the dialogue and humor fall a bit flat, the story has potential, the writing is good, the concept is very poorly communicated. People aren't really this dumb, or silly...usually.

I wanted to stop the movie after 10 minutes, but I couldn't stop. It was like I was hoping that it could get better. So contrived, that the characters didn't even get a chance to find their own chemistry. Only Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner were cute.

I was so pleasantly surprised with this movie, I watched while sick one day. Not a typical "hallmark" type movie, and the Bionic Woman and Million Dollar man are in it, so clever!
Give this one a try if you think dogs are cute, and enjoy a romance! perfect, infact I would watch this cute film again.
The male character should have been a bit more, cuter but cest la vie.

In all honesty, the premise was not that appealing at all and sounded very shallow and sleazy. Still saw 2017's third Summer Nights film 'Eat, Play, Love' as someone who likes dogs (was scared of them for a while but being with friends with well trained dogs has helped) and who has seen Jen Lilley give good performances in the right roles. As well as Hallmark completest sake, they were my main reasons for seeing 'Eat, Play, Love'. Also there have been Hallmark films with bad premises that turned out to be a lot more tasteful and better than expected.
'Eat, Play, Love' has its good things and the two main reasons as to why it was watched are two of the redeeming qualities. It however does nothing to make the premise more appealing, it actually accentuates it, and just never gelled for me. It never grabbed me in story and character writing and the leading man was just wrong. Hallmark have made a lot of good films, some surprisingly so, and made some good ones in 2017, but 'Eat, Play, Love' is a long way from being one of them.
The best thing about it is Lilley, who is a radiantly charming presence and works very hard in making the film without trying too hard. Her character is a flawed one but not overly flawed and she grows, unlike the other characters. Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner also register strongly and their subplot and roles are a lot more interesting than the central one and the conflict.
Also found the dogs truly cute and with a lot of personality. The scenery is very beautiful and very nicely shot.
Unfortunately, there are a large number of shortcomings. Jason Cermak is very stiff throughout and is also rather bland, furthermore he never seemed to fit. He and Lilley have very little chemistry together, too much of a mismatch in character and acting styles (with him being far weaker on both counts) and for me it was too much of a stretch that Lilley's character would find any appeal in such a characterless sleazeball. Plus the relationship itself is very underdeveloped and is rushed. Other than Majors and Wagner, the supporting cast are a mix of anaemic and obnoxious with the evil boss cliche veering into pantomime excess.
Really didn't care for the characters, other than Lilley and the dogs, too many of them are shallow, selfish stereotypes that only care about two or three things. The story takes too long to get going and even when any signs of a plot kicks in it is very slight and has too much of a mean spirited edge. Also found the pace pedestrian. The conflict lacks any tension and is strained to the limit when there is any, that it is very predictable (like the film in general) adds to the lack of tension. The ending is obvious from the get go, is resolved too easily and comes over as unrealistic because it feels unwarranted.
Overall, has some good things but rather lacking. 4/10.

Jen Lilley is for my money in contention to join people like Lacey Chabert and Danica Mckellar as 'Queens' of Hallmark Channel Original Movies, because she just seems to shine in them.
This is great stuff. Funny (not just mildly) and engaging, this made a nice change to the "opposites attract" style these films tend to take.
Excellent stuff, and Lilley is one to watch out for.

I had high hopes, but the story never really got off the ground. The main character is completely miscast -- a 40 year old does not remotely fit in the role of a character who is supposed to be 20 something. The one saving spark is Jen Liley, who is adorable and funny as the small town vet. Save this one for a day when you have absolutely nothing else to do.
Stacey Bradder's costume choices, particularly for Jason Cermak's character (Dan), are so very perfect throughout the movie.
As always, Jen Lilley's "local girl" is lovely. And the puppies were well trained--and, more importantly, adorable.

I enjoyed this movie, however it was rather shallow
and seriously formulaic to the point of being boring.
Dan the dog man was dense as a stump. He had no clue about his TV star girlfriend and what a manipulating twit she was. Enter the high school girlfriend and first love. From there on, the plot was totally predictable. I enjoyed the interaction between Lee Majors and Lindsey Wagner. It was a treat to see them working together again. The dogs, of course were a joy to watch. An okay movie but a really weak plot.

How could her life is branching with Ketut words! How movie goes with Ketut sentences! How come it's "EAT, PLAY, LOVE", it seems Ketut! hammer over a lot of ideas such India, prays, balancing and relationships. few stars for some quotes and acting was good.
