Having watched and reviewed many Faith Based film, A Time for Heaven, has a good enough story to past the exception test as a pretty good movie.
From a filmmakers perspective, the cinematography, acting, etc reminds me more of a Weekend TV Special, than your typical movie. Maybe even equal to JUNO. It's not spectacular, a little drab color wise, but the over all story holds together quite well.
As for its over all message as a Faith Based Christian film, there are some implications about dying, forgiveness, and how to get to heaven that get a bit blurred. That aside, the story is ultimately interesting, a has a nice resolution ending leaving me satisfied with its conclusion. The acting and casting are pretty good also.
I'd recommend putting A Time for Heaven on your list for an evening you want to watch a movie while your working on a hobby or knitting, or feel like sitting around with a cup of hot chocolate.
Rating wise, it was somewhere between 5 stars and 6 stars for me, so I went with the higher number of 6 stars.

This is a touching story of a nurse taking care of a cranky old man. She makes so. The fascinating discoveries.
Unfortunately the theology is way off. The dying man is an atheist but in the story, somehow by "doing the right thing" he will go to heaven.
Other than that, good story.

I wasn't expecting much from it but I was nicely surprised. Very good movie. Good scenario with a twist, very good actors play and good music. Really enjoyed it.

There are lots of films made on the subject of terminal care. this one follows the same pattern as many others, but on extreme low budget, and its clearly a christian overtone to the plot, but that doesnt matter as long as the actors give their best.
its a rather primitive flick production wise, with editing that near cuts your throat and surtainly strangles the goodfeeling of the mainstream, the person acting ill, lack some illness practice, but the dialouges are good and entertains. the big quest is, are there life after death?
im working with old people and are having to deal with death from time to time, and the only thing i can say is that every death is like a fingerprint, its the one and only and there are no equal.i dont think death is harmful for the dying, its the people sitting back alone that has to carry that burdain, and this is a real challenge every time. at times its tough, at others its inspiring and it feels good to be a resource for the latter part. when you sit waiting for the last breath to be taken, you will for better or for worse slide into the same rythm of breating as the terminal ill does, so many a time ive had to rebreath myself and the people sitting around the bed to avoid further casualties.
im not a religious man, buit as an old grumpy man i can make a little recommend to a time for heaven.
